credits to the crew that wanted mata & herrera to play together. they were very intelligent in the final third. if herrera didn't pick up an undeserved yellow in the gerrard saga, he would have stayed 90 mins. he's very intelligent.

rooney had his usual anfield performance - even under SAF, he never played well @ anfield. i wasnt going to talk about him until the nonsense penalty he took. blind did a job on sterling. fellaini keeps proving MrTA wrong & phil jones had a jekyll & hyde performance.

The midfield of Carrick,Fellaini and Herrera were good today.....and of course Mata and Young. With the team keeping possession well now i think its time Rafael had a run at RB, Valencia's limitation offensively sometimes affects us

Di Maria is wasteful with passes. I knew Liverpool would have a great problem solving Fellaini. Jones played too many back passes in the first half and I was always scared he could make mistake. Now I know why Gaal prefers a left footer there.

We started very well but we played too much of short passes that made us aimless and looked like the style could backfire. We have no excuse for the Liverpool goal. We sometimes appear too comfortable playing risky game in the middle.

I had the premonition we were going to win. Hope DDG is not out?

All in all, Thank God for the victory.

But as for the benching. No be so football be. It would have been ideal to substitute him if RVP was on the bench instead of Falcao.

Likewise. This run of games for Herrera is now bringing back the confidence we saw in him at the beginning of the season.
Also, all this while, LVG was just wasting Mata on the bench since January.
Our game is now totally different with the calmness we now have in possession.
Fellaini`s game has really improved. He makes it difficult for opposition to know how they are going to counter our game.
It`s great that we now know our best eleven with good balance.

there was a slight deflection from jones....nothing de gea coulda done. we played better when they had 11 men on the pitch. liverpool had no excuse.

chelsea concede 2 goals in 60 seconds.
courtouis does excellent in one moment & then screws it up in the next. ivanovic is a fool though, he shouldn't be making a back pass in that situation.

Hull has equalised with chelsea 2-2.

I hope they hold on to make the run in more exciting. Its a long way though but they have created chances they did not take.

Infact I hope hull wins!
