It sounds embarrassing and immature with the way and how the new folks here keep answering newbies. If everyone from the previous parts of the thread were like you guys only God knows which direction the thread would be headed by now. If you have an answer to give to someone regarding a question kindly say it, even if you want them to use google kindly explain to them and stop the way and how you keep feeling on top of the world. Those who are even asking you the question(s) may get a TRV before you. And if you know you don't know the answer which I know 90% don't, then keep mute rather than display your mosquito maturity on here. It's good if they read up, yes. But not every one has got the time. So please stop using your attitude to drive people away, it's unkind. I know some of you would wanna take shots at me, I ain't Jesus, I'm coming right back at you. 12 Likes |

Hello guys you all are doing a very good job and i must say am proud to see Nigerians striving to better themselves. a friend of mine was denied 2 times of recent for his study permit so now he came to a conclusion that the only way to get the study permit successfully is to make use of an agen which i object . please guys is my friend right??, am about to start with my journey of applying also for my TRV but not in any way using an agent. so he got me confused. |

Graviton2:Not correct, I used it today to pay the application fees for a school in Canada. |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by akanni(m): 5:01pm On Mar 22, 2015 |
taregs:Tell your friend to list the various reasons he was denied.Any time you get denied, the reasons are always stated and if these reasons are not resolved, you can apply 10 times and you will still get No 10 times. The agent is not a miracle worker, he will ask the same questions and advice on what needs to be done,so, if your guy has so much money, let him go ahead with the agent but let him know using an agent does not guarantee anything. You can go ahead and do it yourself.Try and go through some previous pages and see what people submit, etc. If there are things not clear, you can post them here and it will be resolved. 2 Likes |

modskiller:Thanks for this really! I also complained about this but definitely It was as if I was overreacting. The time I'll use to type and refer to previous pages, if I no d answer I will simply give it. Simply lend a hand when u can, some answers are given arrogantly,I know we will get trv, and wen I do by his grace, I will make sure I help! and sincerely mayb newbies should create another thread, its good to be looked down or ignored, it will force the best out. Rather than been insulted, I will rather do all I can and leave it to God. This is d type of attitude Nigerians have , helping others is made a big deal, and even fellow nigerians won't even want easy start for others. Before u yab me o, av read a lot of posts abt nigerians not willing to help in canada. Newbies biko it might take time but with persistent and prayer, we will get dere. 3 Likes |

One thing you all should have in mind is that majority of the people on this thread are prospective students, so if you can't do little research before you get there, how will you get your assignments and all done please? Secondly some people don't even make any attempt to read, all they do is come here ask questions and expect swft answers. In as much as we are here to learn from eachother, we should try to atleast have an idea of what we want before asking questions. How can you ask people to suggest schools for u for christsakes? 9 Likes 1 Share |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by Funto900: 9:19pm On Mar 22, 2015 |
tnuola:asking for suggestions isn't bad pls. Fine there DLIs per province on the cic website but sumtims people prefer to ask from fellow nigerians. There are a lot of schools, and one might just want ideas based on past experiences. I doubt if anyone will come here to ask any question without doing a little research. 1 Like |

i dont think anyone holds a position to look down or call anyone lazy. when i see a question, if i dont have an answer or i find it ridiculous, i just move on. if everyone does this, the person asking a ridiculous question need not be told, he would know. i agreee to the fact that yes! there are ridiculous questions....."how many schools offer info systems and technology in canada" *some people will say hayqinsbfx has come again.....im ready btw" 4 Likes |

Like seriously a prospective student who is truly willing to school in Canada should have @least use Google to check out schools in Canada and their ranking and even check out thier fees randomly before even coming to Nairaland to ask questions. Coming here to tell us to suggest a school u can attend in Canada without giving the house a profile about your academic history or is quite lame. Funto900: 4 Likes |

Funto900: Please stop making excuses for people, didn't you findout these things on your own? Let's call a spade a spade, some people are just plain lazy and like to be spoon fed at all levels. Btw, If someone wants suggestions based on past experience, he must have done research and listed some schools, then come to ask questions like, btwn school a, b, c and d which do u think is better, in terms of bla bla. Not questions like pls help with schls that offer masters in bla bla. 4 Likes |

Ok, i wasn't going to comment before but i guess tnuola encouraged me. Seriously, Padike, no offence but i dont agree with your comment this time around. We need to encourage people to be proactive. I like @soji... because he's always encouragin people to read n do research while he ans there questions. Like tnuola said, most of us here are expectin trv and the oldies are busy with school n hustle in Canada. If we dont encourage ourselves to read back and do our research, some people will ask questions and wrong ans will be given. I dont know much but the little i know, i learnt it by reading previous post. Like Hayqinsbfx said, wen i see ridiculous questions like can anyone tell me the schools that have high acceptance rate, common, no one is paid here, so i just read past it. I dont know any school that has high acceptance rate, and i guess google will do a great justice to that question. Yes, i dont agree to jengbetiele, u could have said it in a nice way. Please, modskiller, try to avoid insulting people here. I understand you had a similar experience in the past and im sure you have read so much from older post and you have developed more confidence about the whole application process. Let us embrace peace here and not turn this place into a fighting ring. I mean not to offend anyone. I just feel we should work together to make this place a better place. All the best to all TRV hopefuls. This week is blessed. 12 Likes |

brandymcmb: People used to get referred to pages abeg, and people hardly asked silly questions then. These days peeps just ask annoyingly simple questions without any research and expect abracadabra answers. @yregs thanks for your input, no one here is an island, we learn everyday, and we can't learn if we flood d thread by answering same questions in different dimensions everyoda day. 4 Likes |
