Let 2^x be P
P^2.8 -33.P+4 = 0
8P^2-33P+4 = 0
8P^2 -32P -P+4 = 0
8P(P-4) -1(P-4)=0
P= 1/8 and P = 4
Remember P = 2^x

Therefore x = 2 and -3
The right option is A
Do note that the multiplication sign is rep by dot (.)
