The cleric and the so called youths are speaking for themselves. They need to justify the dollar they have received.

LogicPower:
1. The most important thing for GMB is the fact that unlike in 2011 when GEJ got block vote from 'his Christian brothers and sisters' in the MB, MANY people in the BM who voted for GEJ in 2011, including MANY pastors who actively campaigned for him then, are now not only going to vote for GMB but are openly campaigning for him.

2. This is because it must have dawned on the northern Christians that it is NOT in the interests of anybody to vote for an incompetent president even if you share the same religion with him/her.

3. When GMB and GEJ campaigned in the heart of the MB, we saw clearly how the political terrain of the region has completely changed in favour of the people's general; not only did Buhari pull much larger crowds, but the mammoth crowds who turned for Buhari rallies in the area were much more passionate and enthusiastic; like in the rest of the country, Buhari must have been overwhelmed by the strong desire and yearning for change among the ordinary people of the MB.

4. So it is a fact that in the MB, SS and SE regions, where GEJ got a free, unchallenged ride in 2011, the political dynamics are so different this time around that GMB is SURELY going to get a far BIGGER SHARE of the votes from the regions than what he got in 2011.

5. On the other hand, GEJ's share of the NW/NE/SW votes is SURELY going to SHRINK drastically from what it was in 2011.

6. The contrast between 2011 and 2015 can hardly be sharper than what was witnessed yesterday in Imo, where large crowds were shown genuinely and passionately yearning for change, unlike in 2011, when GMB's chances in the SE were so slim, his campaign resources so meagre, and the structure of his party (CPC) so scanty on the grounds that he barely campaigned at all in the region.

Nice analysis....but I still think GEJ may get a free ride in Plateau and Benue re Middle Belt. It is states like Kwara, Kogi, Nassarawa, Gombe , Adamawa and even Taraba that would be difficult.

We must VOTE rightly in 2015.

If SOMEONE is;

J = Joyfully
O = On
N = New
A = Assignment
T = To
H = Help
A = All
N = Nigerians

THEN we must also resist anyone who will

B = Bring
U = Us
H = Hatred
A = And
R = Religious
I = Intolerance

Not exactly. GEJ would get the vote in Chirstian majority states like Benue and Plateau. It is Kogi, Nassarawa, and Kwara that might be tough. Adamawa and Taraba are unknowns.

If you must vote....you better forget about religion and vote for the candidate who will have answers as to how we would run our economy in the wake of the fall in oil prices...before you wake up 3 years later and suddenly see Mr SAP.

Marx was right. Religion really can be used as the opiate of the people.

Forget religion. Vote based on hard nosed economic facts. If you must vote PDP, vote them because of their agric polices, and railways, not some religion joke. If it is APC....vote them because Buhari has had experience of running an austerity government.

Re: Middle Belt Youths, Cleric Declare Support For Jonathan’s Re-election by Nobody: 8:47am On Mar 24, 2015
The word middle belt is a contraption of a small, poor, selfish,hopeless and religious enclave that does not know what they want and will continue to remain dejected not until they allign with the progressives.

Recently there emerged a positive group from that region and ready to unite and become one with the other groups.People like Bantex,Dalong are who I am talking about.

Weather they like it or not,they are same and one with the major tribes in the north,because they have intermarried.It's only the few selfish leaders there,that are deceiving the youths.

I have a lot of family and friends in places like Nassarawa and Kogi and none of them is voting GEJ, so all this bunch of half wit groups declaring support for whoever are full of shlt because last time I checked they only have their limited PVC's to vote with.

This six weeks delay was just to buy time to perfect their scheming..

Yes, but the thrust of my original post is that GMB is going to do MUCH BETTER even in Plateau and Benue states than his performance in 2011, just like he is set to do better in SE and SS, at the expense of GEJ.

I might agree with you as per Benue(the day you hear a Tiv man and Idoma man agree that Susuwam their governor is not fit for purpose....as i did a few months ago...you know PDP benue is in trobule)....but on the other hand...the cattle herder vs farmer issue might push many in the rural areas to go PDP in both benue and nassarawa.

SE? Still PDP run. The only major party there right now apart from PDP is APGA....and APGA is just PDP in different clothing grin. APC might win some votes...but overall it's 2011 again.

SS? Except Rivers and Edo...na PDP all the way.(though Rivers might still go PDP....especially as it remains to be seen how Amaechi's no 2's defection plays out.).
