Which of these two statements do you believe in?

1) Things are not meant to be,we make it happen

Or

2) Everything has been written and predestined

I believe in Number 1.

Depends on the context..as this is in the romance section I'd say 2..ever wonder why even seemingly perfect relationships crash unexpectedly even though uve tried no1 to make it work

Why the question?
If you prefer to do the right thing then your choice is No.2 of your post.

We sometimes do things that were there before we were born. Sometimes they are norms or probably a law in the environment we find ourselves. Christians believe the teachings of Jesus Christ as the right thing and hence adhere to them.


But sometimes, we have to give up the things we desire the most.

Based on what you said on doing both at the right time. There is always an option for others. You might do things right to please yourself while others suffer. Egocentric indeed

At a very tender age, I was told by a seer that I would grow up to become a millionaire, one that would empower many souls.

Guess what a young vocal me asked the seer, ''Should I go home now and go play with my pals?''

I had to ask the question 'cause since I've been predestined to get rich there's no point in schooling or working, the money would just come cheesy

But then, I was wrong.

I still remember the words of that seer like it was just yesterday and I wish I could believe a miniscule bit of his words.

I refuse to believe in fate and destiny.

We should create the favourable condition we wish to be in. We should create our own path, our destiny.

You are poor today cos you chose to be poor, you are freaking rich today cos you chose to be rich.

The mind is a wonderful tool, we should learn to use it. Don't leave it idle and wait on some freaking fate to happen.

I believe in 2. But I also believe fate needs a little helping hand.

The reason is because there are some things in life, that when you look back, they seem like a preparation course for the future. Everything just fit in together like a big puzzle.
