IbkD: why are u pple comparing niger-delta activists to those northern islamic nutjobs? They only took up arms when the FG wont listen to their demands...a demand that is right and just. How can u compare them to mass-murderers, anarchists and pedophiles.....smh |

inciteful Quotes from Northern Politicians: "The next election is likely to be violent and many people are likely going to die (in the process). And the only alternative left to get power is to take it by force, this is the reality on ground" ---- El Rufai "'There will be violence" if Jonathan wins 2011 polls.'" ---- Junaid Mohammed in Guardian News Tuesday November 2, 2010. "If what happened in 2011 (alleged rigging when he actually lost as attested to be independent, neutral and foreign observers) should again happen in 2015, by the grace of god, the dogs and baboons would all be soaked in blood" --- Former Head of State 1983 - 1985, and (APC) presidential flag bearer Gen. Muhammadu Buhari in Vanguard News Tuesday May 15, 2012. "There may be no Nigeria. I draw parallel with Somalia so many times (Somalisation of Nigeria)" ---- Muhammadu Buhari. The Sun News Sunday August 8, 2010. SkyBlue1: My worry is not his arrogance which I think is personal to him. Is he making a valid point which some people want to bury in politics? As u rightly said bad politics affects all of us, but is that all there is to things he pointed out? Is it not bad politics that that one region (the most backward at that) has ruled this country for most of its post independence existence, and is unwilling to let go? Each time the Easterners raised it as an issue they are reminded about the civil war. Yet our constitution says our unity is indissoluble. Those who can solve the issues are obeying an important rule that says ' don't talk when you are eating'. Now the starving majority want to talk. We hear when oil prices fall but we never hear when the price rises. I am pessimistic though optimistic. |

Am surprise when people said they need change. pls which type of change do you need? Old wine in new bottle, u call it new wine? stop deceiving urselves. All the personnel in this so called change are old members that needs change. Ameachi, Tinubu etc, they need to be change first. Buhari, an old fellow also represent change or he is the change? with what knowledge. Old aged man cannot rule this country when a young guy like me is there. Neveragain shall Buhari rule Nigeria. Note: I get am before, I go get am again no be property. I know with the shock he will get on Saturday after loosing will be end of his life. that will make him ultimate failure. If he thinks am lieing, Ask Ogboru of Delta State, he will tell you what happen when he lost 3 straight Governorship election 1 Like |

ElekeNtioba:Hear yourself! Since you were either ignorant or too young to know. I'll still ask you to go and read. I guess it's the Ogoni six that pressurize IBB into allowing the annulled 1993 election to take place. Even Abacha was considering pulling off his Khaki, put on Mufti and embrace democracy because of the pressure before he was capped. If Obj had wanted power to rotate from north to west by picking a Westerner, heaven wouldn't fall. And if notable people from the west had leave GEJ at the mercy of Turai, I'm sure he will be somewhere around Otuoke since 2011. You can never tie up a dog with the gut of a pig. ND militants can only hurt themselves and their people. We know all these darings are just to conceal their fears. The sooner y'all understand that we'll continue to feast on your oil until the last drop, the better. We may then go our separate ways afterward. 1 Like |

otr1: Abacha threw ur brother into prison like a common criminal for over 5 yrs and ur so-called "powerful" tribe couldnt do shyt. Yoruba senior military officers were all cowering like d limpdicks they are.....smh its when ur talk of ND activists hurting themselves more than others dat i understood ur predicament. Ur pple dont know what is courage, u have been playing lapdog to the north since d heydays of d sokoto caliphate....so i'm not surprised u cant differentiate between courage and cowardice. Courage comes with a price...Igbos suffered hunger and deprivation during d civil war because they dared challenge the treatment of their pple in Nigeria; Niger Delta was subjected to heavy bombardment because they asked for more right to resources in their OWN lands. I dont expect u to understand what it takes to look beyond d pain u will suffer and fight for what u believe in. Keep waiting on hand-me-downs from ur northern masters...its ur destiny. 2 Likes |

Mbediogu: I hear what you're saying but think its a false argument. The suya seller or beggar in Kano has not been ruling you, the elites from that region have, and the suya seller is just as much a victim. Secondly, it is Asari's solution to his so called disagreements that I find puerile. He wants us to continue enduring bad governance for what reason? If not so he can continue getting paid for doing nothing at the expense of development and progress for ordinary Nigerians then for what reason? He likes to make grandiose and seemingly plausible arguments that always end up specious when properly dissected. Asari is only fighting for his own stomach, and wants to get other poor people fighting for him and his stomach as well by using infantile logic. Are we saying the solution to underdevelopment in the region and injustice is bad governance? Odilli that is from the region and ruled Rivers State for eight years, what benefit did the people obtain from his leadership? |
