However, there are many school of thoughts, that strongly disagree, suggesting that no one invented ‘power’. Nevertheless, I respectfully declare that I know the inventors of ‘power’.

‘Ondogram: The record made by an ondograph’.

‘Ondograph: An instrument by which electric wave forms, especially those of alternating currents, are recorded atographically.

‘Ondometer: A meter for registering the frequency of electromagnetic  waves,  record made by an ondograph’.

– The New International
Webster’s Comprehensive Dictionary
of the English Language (Encyclopedic Edition)

If we understand that ‘gram’, ‘graph’, and or ‘meter’ are words relating to ‘measuring’, and from the above quotes, what is interpreted as measured is related to ‘electricity’, which is otherwise named the prefix ‘Ondo'; then, what is ‘Ondo’?

The quadgraph ‘Ondo’ is the official name of one of the states in southern ‘Nigeria’. True or False?

Howbeit, if the inventors of electricity were Nigerians how come Nigeria is still in darkness? Is it on purpose?

Onto say Ondo invented electricity, but it takes an oyinbo man, Thomas Edison to commercialise electricity and take the credit and patent right for the magical phenomena.

I am absolutely ashamed by the responses so far on this thread. And you will call yourselves leaders of tomorrow, when you can hardly comprehend today, other than your stomach infrastructure. Has anyone of you bothered to visit the suggested blog, and read the serious revelations that contributed to how we got to this disgraceful abyss? Rather than encourage our own, we derive fun in undermining the few good ones that are left of us, to salvage our future. You are all a disgrace. Go sidon and shut up your dirty mouths. Park your dead brains aside joor! Una, dey block our way.

Is there a psychological reason for this need that I've observed in many black people to lay claims to things we have no business making claims to?

Does it perhaps stem from a feeling of inadequacy?

Well we should know sarcasm when we see one, especially tricks that bloggers pull to attract readers. It is too early to burst op's sensational topic, but everyone should know the story of Charles Proteus Steinmez, The Electrical Genius of Liberty Hall. His was a true Horatio Alger story.

From your language, I can sense that you should be a Nigerian, possibly from the eastern part.

Personally, I believe that the road to discovering new things is by being open minded, being able to move away from what you think you know and being able to assimilate new things. That is the reason some people seem to be moving forward than others. If you as a Nigerian could respond the way you did to an information as this, it shows that we are not ready as a people to move from where we are. You so much believe in what you have been told over the years that you cannot even phantom the possibility of something so significant to have been discovered by a Nigerian. That is mental slavery, it is the worst form of slavery ever.

I am not saying that what noah is saying must be true, but at least give it a thought, do your own research or ask questions from the writer before making a final decision, at least there are links there for you to visit (if you care to do so, it is said that the easiest way to hide information from a black man is to put it in a book because he will never read)

But of course thisd is nairaland and so Its expected that ill be a nigerian. And I'm not even from d eastern part. U know what's d use of believing we invented electricity when we don't even have enough of dat electricity? I'd rather believe that ssomeday nigerians can have 24 hour undisrupted electricity and by that work towards it. U know my pple say somehing about a child dat isn't brilliant but u say he has good handwriting. Is d good handwriting going to fetch him/ her marks?. Its not about d origin, its about d present state.

The Op wrote a lot about state of ignorance, it is the same as self-forgetfulness; In reality, both state of ignorance and self-forgetfulness which mean the samething is infact what is called "evil".
The state of both ignorance and self-forgetfulness permits evil. poverty is evil, lack of knowledge is evil etc.

Nice, but truth is origin is foundation right? And the foundation they say is what holds the house, so why on earth would you say its not about d origin?

I know that your own mind is typical of white man's mind, never touching what they dont know cos knowledge of anything is already unattainable to them even by mistake. White apologist, show me my biases.

Any building without foundation will CRASH! I understand your plight, if we actually invented electricity but we are in darkness, naso nigeria be, so much dark past by the main founders of this land, I strongly believe Africa sold her history and glory to some unknown for. Unknown, no secret is a secret forever except God Almighty. We would enjoy that light soon whatever myt b d case

Before you make use of some terms please buckle up first. A white man(present) day is totally opposite of the blackman (present day), as white we touch the most deadliest, we sought for knowledge, infact we discover you(black) and sell it back to you, we do anything and go every length to achieve and satisfy our anxiety. We are not dumb, we never forget our background, and we will ever be smarter than you. If you can beat half of that, then we would reduce calling you apes.

As this 'white' that you have described, which of these goals have you personally acheived? I am black: did you discover me, sold me and wiser than me and remember your ancestor more than me? Aren't you lower in rank as Ape whereby, you found ape and start conversing with ape? Meanwhile, tell me my bias and prove you are white.

We sincerely apologize for any wrong impression that any of our words may cause. We do not intend to, and shall never fly the tribalism card here, or anywhere else. After all, our team is not constituted by a particular section or tribe. In any case, it is our conviction at NOAH KLUB according to the old saying, 'The broom is stronger when in bunch'. We believe in 'oneness' of all.

Have you seen most African Ancient artifacts, have you seen how precise they are and how calculated? Do you think anybody can make that without electricity? Yet this is not the type electricity we are talking about here. There is a form of electricity that was used in the past by us that the white can't yet imagine.
Do you know that one of the functions of the pyramids is to generated electricity while the obeliks transmits current to various places that are need.

Go back to your home village and learn the truth about yourself. Your elders are there waiting for you to come back either alive or after your present body expires. as black people, we don't die, we can't.
