Question: What If GMB Is Disqualified? by Johnbosco77(m): 5:28am On Mar 25, 2015 |
I just want to know the fate of GMB if justice Adeniyi agrees with all the evidences presented agaist GMB and proceeds to disqualify him. What will now be the fate of APC and GMB? PS: I'm not partisan. Just curious. |

Heaven won't fall but violence will take center-stage. Southerners in the North will suffer more. I think the Judge might dismiss the matter for the sake of peace. |

Johnbosco77:The APC files an appeal, status quo is maintained and electioma go on as usual. Nigerians know how court cases go so why the pointless fretting over this? Whoever loses the case today is heading to the apeal court 1 Like |

He is not going to be disqualified because the court will not rule on the case this week. The case is going to get adjourned till after the elections |

He wont, PDP will be very stupid to do that. They have to let him contest and fail. If he wins, they can then bring up the case

Chigold101: Bros nothing will happen in Rivers,Forget Amaechi, Rivers and Lagos states would provide the largest votes for GEJ from the south |

A good governance will start with a good leader, APC are shouting GMB is a man of integrity, if he's truly a man of integrity, he shud accept watever d court says. Don't be blindfolded, if APC nd Buhari can't accept d judgment then they wuld be worst than PDP nd GEJ. The future of our great country lies on our shoulders. Save the future today. 1 Like |

moderatorr1: Buhari would be disqualified by the high court, he will likely appeal the judgement and go ahead to contest the elections but I don't see him winning either at the ballot box or in court, The supreme court will definitely decide the case before May 29 irrespective of what happens on March28 |
Re: Question: What If GMB Is Disqualified? by Raiders: 6:41am On Mar 25, 2015 |
chukwudi44:keep dreaming that GEJ/PDP will win the elections. Nigerians are going to vote out pdp this time around even pdp know that they are losing this elections. However, If buhari is disqualified after the elections by the supreme courts. Buhari VP will take over and continue APC presidency |
Re: Question: What If GMB Is Disqualified? by thunder74(m): 7:40am On Mar 25, 2015 |
Raiders:Wrong sir, if Buhari is disqualified, his vice loses too. Buhari candidacy gives life to Osinbajo. It is only during impeachment, death that VP automatically takes over. VP can only inherit what President legal owns. |
Re: Question: What If GMB Is Disqualified? by Raiders: 8:14am On Mar 25, 2015 |
thunder74:There is going to be a constitutional problem. Remember when Celestine Omehia was disqualified and replaced with Ameachi by the supreme court. The court asked the deputy governor Engr Tele Ikuru to continue even tho Omehia candidacy gave life to Tele Ikuru. The VP/Deputy Governor are constitutionally elected so if the governor or president disqualified they can still continue. |

CharlesPhc:could you explain to me why you think I am wrong |
Re: Question: What If GMB Is Disqualified? by thunder74(m): 8:54am On Mar 25, 2015 |
Raiders:Wrong again sir, Rivers case is not about qualifications but who is the authentic candidate of PDP. Even though Omehia won the election but he was not the valid candidate of PDP but Amaechi. The case would have been decided otherwise if Omehia election was challenged by another party or person on qualifications. The same would have happened in Lagos if Obanikoro had not withdrawn his case in court bc even if JK wins the election and sworn in, Obanikoro may still become governor if he successfully challenges his candidacy. This is an internal party affairs. Buhari case is different, nemo dat quod non habet. |

If he gets disqualified, nothing will happen. Heaven will not fall. And if anyone tries any act of violence, he'll shot on sight. No one is above the law!! |
Re: Question: What If GMB Is Disqualified? by omolami: 9:11am On Mar 25, 2015 |
The case is at the prerogative of the court which is a separte and independent arm of government. Those attaching PDP and Jonathan's name with the case in court are clueless without reasoning faculty. Would pdp or Jionathan tell judge what judgement to make? Only Buhari can do that, as military HOS not now .Nigerians and especially that Lai Lie Mohammed should stop being frivolous and incitive. |
