bobolizim: The reason start from the beinning , when God told sarah that she will give birth to child he has promise with . But sarah did not believe she can still give birth to a baby , due to this he told Abraham to marry are slave . The slave(hagar) born Ishmael to abraham who started the islam religion . But made it clear to sarah that , that was nt his plan . Abraham's first wife Sarah bears him a son, Isaac (Gen 21:1-5) . Galatians 4:23 ► His son by the slave woman was born according to the flesh, but his son by the free woman was born as the result of a divine promise. The slave woman was hagar while the free woman was sarah . This is why they call themsf God's slave cuz ishamel who startd islam was born of a slave womant. Anyone who does not live righteously and does not love other believers does not belong to God. (NIV) 5. I John 3:2 - Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is (NIV) (One of my favourite part of the Scripture). 6. 2 Samuel 7:14 - I will be a father to him and he will be a son to Me; when he commits iniquity, I will correct him with the rod of men and the strokes of the sons of men (Guess who the speaker is). 7. Romans 8:12-25 - So then, brethren, we are under obligation, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh-- for if you are living according to the flesh, you must die; but if by the Spirit you are putting to death the deeds of the body, you will live. For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. 8. Romans 9:6-8 - But it is not as though the word of God has failed For they are not all Israel who are descended from Israel; nor are they all children because they are Abraham's descendants, but: "THROUGH ISAAC YOUR DESCENDANTS WILL BE NAMED." T[b]hat is, it is not the children of the flesh who are children of God, but the children of the promise are regarded as descendants.[/b]. 9. Ephesians 1:5 - He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the kind intention of His will. 10. Revelation 21:7 - He who overcomes will inherit these things, and I will be his God and he will be My son. God did NOT use the word "SLAVE" to describe His own. Kindly reply by giving me four more references saying Christians are slaves of God. Shalom! |
