If these girls are finally rescued within few days to elections then i believe this is a calculated attempt by the ruling class to get sentimental votes on Saturday. The success recorded by the army in this few weeks are suspicious and too good to be true.

Why is everything positive happening in 6 weeks

One can't say for sure if there are ulterior motives behind the recent gains by the military. However, I believe the coalition involving Nigeria, Chad, Cameroon and Niger has really been a boost.
