The President and his wife have not been accredited. However, Prof. Jega has said they will still be allowed to vote by personal identification. I wonder why the card readers failed to recognize just the two of them. |

The two men (one middle aged the other aged) in front of me at the polling unit had their "verification failed" response from the card reader. This was even though their names, and card were accepted. When it got to my turn I was already agitated but with just one attempt, the card reader accepted my thumb print and "verification passed" was re-echoed. Na God save that machine. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Throughout the city of Calabar, card readers are not working. However, in my polling unit INEC officials and party agents reached an agreement on how to carry out the accreditation. *Your card will be checked against the voters register *INEC official will sign against your name and image. *You will be given a piece of paper with a number written on it and endorsed by the same INEC official. God is not a man....... the resilience, calmness and patience of GEJ speaks volumes of it's leadership quality which would have been the opposite if it were the case of the APC presidential candidate ...Owning to his unreserved and careless manner to handle hitch would have made unguarded statement to cause unrest and violence in the country by now...... GEJ till 2019 jor. 3 Likes |

onatisi:U r a funny dude. Gej exercises patience and so does Buhari. No need to compare Buhari's supporters with gej himself. Compare the two candidates instead. And if you must, u may compare their supporters. 2 Likes 1 Share |

EcoTerror:by the time it is 2pm ,and ppl haven't been accredited, then they will know that pdp was right all along. And I am very sure card readers will be set aside and the normal voters register will be used for accreditation. This is simple common sense ,YOU DON'T EXPERIMENT WITH PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION. Only god knows what supporters of the card readers were thinking. 3 Likes |

So far so good. I have been accreditated. Took about 15 minutes, no card reader was used. Just present your PVC aand they check your picture and mark it and then give you a piece of paper. Finally put red curtex on your right thumb finger. |

Lagos - Surulere - Aguda some polling boots empty no officials my own they showed up 9.30 and forgot or lost half of the form so half are currently hanging. We say just use the card reader and confirm we are here. they say they must follow due process so we are hanging and currently disenfranchised. |

I am noticing a trend. In the south the card readers are malfunctioning or the accreditation is late because the staff have not arrived. While in the North everything is on time and there are no reports of malfunctioning card readers. Why is it always like this? 1 Like |
