iomari:
Greetings,
This is going to be a long post.
I was one of the first to have the One. After reading everything I could on it, I decided what the hell. I've been using tecno since 2098 and have been very pleased with their products. The most recent I owned was the L6 which is a very lovely phone with a monster battery and kitkat OS.
2 days after I purchased the L6 I saw the One. Love at first sight. So I sold my L6, at a very reduced price, to my partner and ordered the One. A few days later it arrived and I must admit I was more than impressed with the build. As usual, the immediate change I had to make was rooting. I did my research on it and had all the necessary tools. Little did I know that rooting was not going to happen as planned. This was a major blow as I'm not a regular user. Without rooting, I might as well just buy a cheap phone. I absolutely need my mobile devices rooted due to my work. I tried every technique available but no luck.
Now in itself, I can not blame Innjoo for that. After all, rooting is not the responsibility of the manufacturer. In fact it voids the warranty. But enough on that.
The remainder of this review is a warning.
The One is a lovely phone with a beautiful design. But it suffers from 2 major flaws which has forced me to put mine up for sale.

1) I tried my best to avoid condemning the One on any level. After all I really love the phone. Bug the 1st major flaw is its battery. It sucks. I'm sorry if you want to believe others who say it's ok, but it's obvious they don't have much experience with as many phones as some of us. Comparatively speaking, the battery dies very quick. I also bought the innjoo powerbank which makes up for it but that powerbank is heavy as hell. But I can manage that. For me, normal use means leaving my data on 24/7 along with my Hotspot for my tablet and laptop. On a full charge, I can drain the battery in under 2 hours without any exaggeration. Unlike the tecno l6 that I sold which has a monster battery that lasted me all day no matter how I abused it.

2) this next prob is the reason that I absolutely condemn innjoo. From the day I 1st got my One, I notice I was getting adverts on the bottom of the screen. The ads are placed in a position that makes it impossible to access anything on the bottom which is where most apps place their navigation buttons. Consequently it's impossible to send an sms for example without jumping through hoops. The only way to remove the ad is to click on it which opens up the browser. To add to the frustration, the damn adverts download and install apps without your permission. If I tell you how many times I've had to uninstall superflashlight, apus launcher, and badu browser to name a few, you will think I'm lying. I'll wake up in the morning and find these apps installed over and over again. I've tried everything available to stop this shit from happening. But without rooting it can't be done. Initially I thought it was something I had installed that caused it but after countless resets, I now know it is something in innjoo OS that is causing this. Many have complained of the exact same behavior. Trust me, what I'm describing absolutely impedes your everyday work. Now I'm no layman. I have CLP and CLE in Linux. I tell you this simply to let you know that I know what I'm doing. And I'm telling you that innjoo OS has issues.

What prompted me to write this little book was when I ran across a review of the new innjoo note pro. Under the comments, a user described the same complaints that I describe. Then I knew that this is an innjoo problem, here is the link to that article:

http://uae.souq.com/ae-en/innjoo-note-pro-dual-sim-5-5-16gb-3g-wifi-black-7807880/i/

Here is the screenshot of the ads on the bottom of the screen which are constantly there

mine was giving me that stupid advert but stopped all of a sudden one day

Well, U seem right with the claims buh All these don't appear to me as a major problem. Nd About the second issue, it's quite sure InnOs has that problem.
U can uncheck this in the attached image nd U will be fine or download another launcher like GoLaucher
