On Rail Transportation and Airport Facilities in Nigeria

My People, let's be honest. All the Governments before President Goodluck Jonathan totally failed to revive the Railways and put in modern facilities in Airports all over Nigeria. For the first time in many years, Nigerians are seeing trains passing behind their homes. The trains operating under GEJ's administration might not be world class trains, but they are also not bad trains. They are moving and the interior of these trains can compete favourably with some countries in Eastern Europe. At least, something has been done about the Railways. Let us look at the Airports, are we not seeing some good things happening to our Airports? I have never felt safer at the MMIA in Lagos. The facilities has been upgraded at our Airports. Under the trio of IBB, ABACHA and Abubakar, nothing serious was done about reviving our Railway System and the Airports. I score GEJ high when it comes to infrastructural development in Nigeria. Cheers.

Ok lets give him kudos for this. But can we also give him the deserved sticks in the areas He has failed woefully:

1) Corruption: Corruption has grown geometrically under GEJ's watch, infact He endorsed corruption with many of his utterances.
2) Fuel: GEJ's policy on the refineries, has seen us getting in and out of fuel crisis. Refineries can function (at least that of Kaduna), but for corrupt reasons they just don't. The whole subsidy thing is a web of scams. Nutshell, can't say we have made any meaningful progress n that sector.
3) Economy: The economy is about to crash, yes Crude Oil prices crashed and of course there should be consequences; but also for the better part of GEJ's tenure crude oil prices were well higher 30 -40$ above the benchmark set by he Nigerian Government. Where did the savings go
4) Excess Reserve: Our reserves that were suppose to act as a shock absorber should financial emergencies arise has been plummeted. For what??
5) Fraudulent Security compromise: Of what business is a militant (Tompolo) being awarded a billion dollar contract to secure Nigeria's water-ways. What was the outcome of sch a dubious contract of course more of our crude oil is stolen. Like a man that never learns, He has also awarded a similar contract to OPC? Doesn't that sound like a man equipping militant groups so as to destroy this country
6) Boko-Haram: GEJ preferred to allow BH reign, so as to score cheap points against the north, e sacrificed the lives of thousands for political gains, well it backfired. His attempt to mend the situation saw a BH that was reigning for 6 years being seriously wiped out in 6weeks. What that tells a discerning mind is that: we always had the capability to kick out BH, it was the will that was lacking.
7) POWER: What can I say about Power; as far as I am concerned I have not got anything better than I got 6 years ago; infact at the moment power is worse. Privatising PHCN is not an achievement to me, they sold PHCN to their cronies and are still grappling with it. In a nutshell very little progress was made with power.

Now, tell me why I shouldn't vote him out

On Corruption and the GEJ Administration

Yes, GEJ has not done well concerning the tackling of corruption. His administration has witnessed some high levels of corruption. But the question I am asking APC supporters is this- Can we say the OBJ Government was not also corrupt? Then we have the IBB and Abacha led Governments that bled Nigeria blind financially Between IBB and Abacha, the amounts stolen from the Federal Reserves were MASSIVE and makes GEJ's Government's corruption look like child's Play. And can APC supporters beat their chests and say Buhari will charge IBB and Abacha families to court for the money they stole? Why is it that Southern corruption is highlighted in the media while Northern Corruption is hardly spoken about and muted?

LMFAO. Olorun Oba o!

And I said I wanted to have a debate with you. Mbanu. I no do again.
Little wonder why the Buhari supporters were insulting you. LMAO.

Now to your post:
You did nothing but hang yourself. You said GEJ government has not done well in tackling corruption and that his government has witnessed some HIGH LEVEL of corruption. Not even low level. And you expect Nigerians to vote for him again?

Next, the argument was not between GEJs government and Obasanjos government or Abachas government or IBBs government. HELL NO! This is between GEJs govern and Buharis government. And you didn't address that.

Also you insinuated that since majority of our past leadrrs have been proven to be corrupt then we should adopt that as the standard way of life and vote for Jonathan so he can continue with his HIGH LEVEL CORRUPTION. So Naija does not deserve an upright leader with integrity No disrespect bro but you sound like a corrupt person yourself.

Trust me bro. I got so much to say about that crap you put up there. But men, it ain't worth my time.

Change is here and change is real.

Shalom.

Well, it seems they lack both - and they're superficial/plain with no substance.

Hunger is real - but if you have any of the two attributes, selling ya soul for a plate of porridge to satisfy the short-term urge, for long-term benefit would be the last thing on ya mind. They failed and history will judge them.

So you are a fool for saying that and I must tell you that you are a bastard.......I'm an APC member but politics apart, my people remains my people.

You are welcome. Kako Is a phenomenon, he's more popular and even performed excellently than our useless local government chairman. In fact he's more popular and performed excellently than all those that are suppose to be closer to us. A message has been passed and I hope those who have ears are listening.
You need not educate me, I stay in Ajegunle street. I have been there since 2003 and Kako has been wonderful.. GOS was Mushin chairman for 8 years,House of rep for 8 years nothing to show for it and he still wanted to contest for the governorship election.. How? Or is it the current LGA chairman that has not set his legs on my street before.. I was concerned Kako might not win due to the amount of APC partisans in our constituency.. The man too try jarey.. I'm happy
