Bro. The problem is from the Noroot firewall, next time you want to tether your phone stop the firewall

Thnks bros. U are right. I completely disabled no-root firewall & d wifi came up & worked well: only dat every other apps dat I hv supressed wt it sucked d data terribly within a few minutes. Just dont know hw best now to free d wifi & continue to supress unwanted background apps.

On battery & charging:
1. If charged to 100% & unplugged. Leaving d phone idle for abt 20mins, d battery would hv depleted to 88%. My wifi & bluetooth are always off.

2. Now if charging, it cuts off intermittently frm power source thereby making one funny sound....

Are you running kitkat? Did you at anytime uninstall and reinstall these apps or did they just stop working on their own? Kitkat has a known issue whereby if you uninstall an app on certain devices, the app will continue failing

yea, I'm running kitkat. ..I installed one certain app like that so the phone had to reboot after the reboot, I noticed my bbm and music player stopped working so I had to reset the phone.now my music player is working but the bbm still fails to work and also my video player.

Hello guys. I'm so happy I found this thread and I hope my problem gets solved.
I use a samsung galaxy s3, running on a jellybean 4.3. Two weeks ago, my device memory crashed and I've since been trying to retrieve my lost data. The major problem I encounter is usb debugging. I activate debugging but whenever I connect to my pc, it still shows as a media device.

I'll appreciate if anyone here can help out. I will pay if you can successfully retrieve my lost files. Thanks in anticipation.

You won't be able to upgrade the N900A via OTA, I used the N900A before, I rooted and flashed custom ROMs.... Due to the limitations and restrictions AT&T placed on that device, Lollipop isn't an option for that device at the moment, no Lollipop custom ROM also..... The highest you can go is 4.4.4 KitKat...... And the process to flash the 4.4.4 ROM is complicated.... You can check the development section on XDA for some good 4.4.2 ROMs for your N900A ✔

Hello, I flashed stock lollipop (I9500XXUHOAA_I9500ODDHOA2_INU) via Odin on my S4 and everything was fine, then a couple of days later, the famous wifi/Bluetooth bug reared its ugly head.....Now i cant connect to my office wireless network running WPA2 with AES encryption.

I've scoured the net for a solution but couldn't make any headway. Now my question is this, is there any lollipop rom without the Wifi/bluetooth bug or a quick fix to the problem I'm experiencing. I really don't want to downgrade back to kitkat cos lollipop is awesome aside from the few glitches.
