This makes me remember Festus Keyamus write up on the 15th of January which he titled: "The epitaph that will be left for the Presidential years of Goodluck Jonathan is this: HERE IS A PRESIDENT WHO DESTROYED PDP AND ALMOST DESTROYED NIGERIA". Apt, very apt 4 Likes |

Buhari may not be the messiah that will take Nigerians to the promise land but at the same time Nigerians are tired of 16years of wastefulness of the current PDP led government, lets give another party a chance and see how it goes, no venture, no success, the general state of insecurity is enough to have a change of baton....... Millions of graduates roaming the streets and cannot find jobs, bad roads, lack of energy/power despite billions of dollars pumped into that sector, Nigeria Military which use to be the bride of other African countries has now become a laughing stock due to inept and bad leadership, we liberated Liberia and Sierra Leone and yet we cannot deal with rag-tag boko haram ...................abeg the sins of PDP is too much, even the whole world wants change for Nigerians,..............if Buhari fvcks up, we vote him out in the next election.................Power indeed belongs to the people....... 10 Likes |

oloriooko:Yes he said, remember he's a northerner. Reuben Abati wrote an article on the Guardian Newspaper claiming that Buhari said it, but Buhari denied it and sued Reuben Abati and the Guardian Newspaper to the court. The Presidency then begged Buhari to settle the case off court and the matter was settled, so its a lie! 6 Likes |

For those clowns saying a muslim cannot rule dem. This people voted yaradua in 2007. Yaradua swept votes in the south east and south south. Wasn't yaradua a muslim? Jonathan succeeded in creating religious and ethnic hatred amongst us. And thank God for buhari, its going to change. 8 Likes |

One thing is for sure... GMB is Nigeria's President Elect.... But enough of all the propaganda.... We did not vote GMB because of any of the realistic or silly promises he may have made... Not because APC said they'll make power available under one year... We voted because we wanted a change... We voted because we wanted something different from the norm... We voted because we wanted to see a different approach to development... So... All the many manifestos you gave, we knew most of the contents were overstated and exaggerated.... 90% of US did not read it.... We just wanted change.... And 4 years from now, we want to be sure we did not make a mistake... If at all we did, we'll have no regrets, cos it was our choice.... So sir, start assembling your economic team and draw up a realistic path for our development... We will support you until the climax of your 4 years... and then we will review your performance against the last admin and against your realistic plan.... And all Nigerians will again decide our countries fate... Democracy wins thanks to GEJ... NIGERIA wins thanks to electorates 8 Likes |
