I am not a fan but I respect him through and through! He seems to have corrected the errors of Awo & Akintola and learned all of Bode Thomas's idea on regionalism and he is playing them out. We don't always like our heroes in their time but posterity will judge him the best. Maximum respect o Jagaban! 51 Likes 1 Share |

After God almighty, GMB should thank Asiwaju Bola Tinubu for this victory. He his a special blessing to Nigeria's opposition movement. Without him, Nigeria will be a one party state. Other politicians should go learn politics from him. 24 Likes 1 Share |

He is greater than awolowo - my own opnion. In him lies the relevance of the yoruba race politically. The great strategist, a visionary, a wise one and foremost - a political godfather I don't like him but I strongly admire and respect him. His actions forces you to respect him. This sweet victory was made possible because of him 25 Likes 3 Shares |

ADAMUdaCOWBOY: Jagaban of Borgu emirate..... It was a chieftaincy title given to him by the people of Borgu emirate in Niger state.. 11 Likes |
Re: Jagaban by Nobody: 9:39pm On Mar 31, 2015 |
Boss13: I don't think.....he just played a different kind of politics.....a very pragmatic type of politics. The politics that says "You don't need to like the face of a person before you work with such person for a mutually beneficial relationship "..... He is a more pragmatic politician than Pa Awolowo....but not necessary a better leader. 16 Likes 1 Share |

ADAMUdaCOWBOY: It is actually a royal Title from a Kingdom of Borgu bestowed on him . Borgu is located in Niger State. Jargaban Borgu ! Much respect, anyone with vision and not shortsighted will understand the great impact you have made in Nigerias political waters, it is really hard and less attractive playing opposition in any African nation, but you stood in the gap, salvaging a factionalised AD in to just one state governor in 2007 under AC, and then expanding gradually, recovering stolen mandates across sw states and ss, in to what we have now. 8 Likes 1 Share |

I never really liked Tinubu. But the man gained my utmost respect at that Abeokuta APC Rally in January 2015! I still play that video of him in my head everytime. This man knows his onions and he is a certified intellectual omo-ita! Jagaban baba, tuale! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n2kmeucCGAc https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JZ_LVs1BYdY 12 Likes |

Jagaban - Olenu bii Ibon, Olenu bii Bazooka |
Re: Jagaban by Nobody: 9:54pm On Mar 31, 2015 |
ilugunboy: Very pragmatic, he was willing to change Nigeria one hamlet at a time, no grand visions. He built bridges before he needed them. He knew his baggage, acknowledged them and never gave his opponents the chance to use that baggage against him. He played the long game ( dammit man, nucca was almost like a mafia boss in this respect). He understands and acknowledges the Nigerian skewed politics and played it to his advantage, many times to the surprise and helplessness of his opponents. And REGIONALISM!!! He knows that success of Nigeria lies in that system and is gradually pushing towards that Should I go on? All the above were mistakes Awo made! I don't like him o but mehn, i have a lot of respect for him. 13 Likes 1 Share |

Desola: Jagaban - a name synonymous with greed, pocketing of Lagos State treasury and rabid nepotism. Ask the people of Ibeju-Lekki whose lands he grabbed to describe him better. They will use some of the most colourful phrases you have never heard before, to do so. 11 Likes 1 Share |
