One thing I know is that President Goodluck Jonathan will be fondly remembered and celebrated by all and particularly the western world that have never hidden their hatred for this gentleman. Even the western media that have often sought to redicule him will write his name in gold. Bravo!!! President Goodluck Jonathan, you will always have my unfeigned and unalloyed respect. You have indeed shown that no politician's ambition is worth the blood of any Nigerian citizen. I understand that you have called and congratulated the president elect, Rt Gen. Mohammadu Buhari; yes, that is the most noble thing to do even though he never thought about doing so in 2011 when you defeated him rather, Nigeria witnessed an ambition that cost many Nigerians, young and old their precious lives. But today, you have truly shown what a gentleman leader you are …and by extension, have made Africa proud by setting a goal that no African leader, dead or alive in history of African politics has ever achieved. I am very proud of you as I see you receiving a Noble Prize for Peace. You are not just a Nigerian hero, Africa and the entire world will celebrate you. Irrespective of your human imperfections, you remain to me, the best president that has ever walked the path of Nigeria. God bless you my most tolerable President, it is well with you and your own. To the President-elect, Gen. Mohammadu Buhari (rtd ), I heartily congratulate you for this new fit you have achieved despite trying and trying without success. You have indeed shown especially, Nigerian youths the practical example of "Keep trying until you succeed." Congratulations! I am happy that you have finally secured the key to the chamber from where the most talked about change will be very much anticipated. Nigerians are now facing the direction of this promised change, and we do hope that all the anomalies you pointed out on your way to this chamber, about the outgoing administration would be corrected in order to have our beloved country progress beyond where it is today. As a human being however, we would not expect you to perform magic about this, even though you made us believe you hold the magic wand that will make the country that has suffered bad leadership even from the days of your military predecessors and successors, the envy of the entire world. However, we shall keenly wait on your campaign & electoral promises for a better Nigeria. I pledge to accord you the respect due to the office you are about to occupy. However, be that perfect and incorruptible person you have always been assumed to be or be ready to be as tolerable as the outgoing President Goodluck Jonathan whom Nigerians never spared from verbal insults and spittle but yet, remained calm and resolute. I wish you good luck, good health and God speed as you man the affairs of Nigeria for the next four years. Congratulations! To fellow Nigerians, we obviously have a new president, and he is going to be the Nigerian president and not a regional one. Therefore, let us all accord him the needed co-operation and respect deserved of a president from his countrymen irrespective of our ethnic or religious backgrounds. Support and pray for our new president. We would be better for It. 1 Like |

cococandy:Exactly. We thank God they have the 'fowa' now, we'll see how it impacts on us differently. We clamoured for change- we have it now. We pray it's positive. The best news is that no one needs being afraid of slaughter goons that would have been on the loose had the result been against APC's expectation. |

Cityguy: Exactly He came Into power without struggle and left without struggle. Promised free and fair elections and delivered. He was actually the change in the real sense of the word. We are just going back to old ways with APC entrance. |

oyb: Stop lying through your teeth. You're calling security presence harassment. Do you think you will even be given a medium to talk much less condemn something you don't like or call it harassment under buhari? Don't worry. Don't answer. time will show. Nigeira hasn't gotten a better president than GEJ since the inception of PDP unfortunately for you guys you've just voted them in again just under a different name. |

He who fails to heed advises makes strong warning inevitable. When OBJ was advising GEJ, he refuse to pay attention and his supporters backed him saying OBJ only wanted to control him from his Otta farm. Then OBJ warned him to the acceptance of defeat when it comes, he now behaved. Only a kid does this. Unfortunately its too late for GEJ, because he is surely full of regrets now. |
