oyb: Bros, I don't want to talk too much about the situation of that joker except to say he will know 'what's up' soon. Furthermore, riggers are wasting their time because Buhari is incoming. Wike will be the biggest victim. I will personally encourage them to again try the same rigging abracadabra they did for GEJ in Rivers Presidential collation for Wike guber election also. We know Faka Jonathan is eager to have Wike as Governor but they are now on a long thing because every single election malpractice will be reversed under Buhari. The Buhari win is a tsunami for many reasons many cannot appreciate right now. Things will be very different and there will be an intolerant and permanent cull of lawless thugs like Wike, Obanikoro et al under a President not afraid to 'go there'. Buhari told them he is drawing a line in the sand. I think many do not really appreciate what this means but they will soon. My brother, like 9ice said, "let's go there". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jC3PMHTPbOk?list=PLVWru-qcA0aIDmFvOttFPYdOiJ5XavsyB 3 Likes |

Gbawe: In fact reading your analysis gave me hope as regards Niger state. I was really scared it will be rigged in favour of the PDP governorship aspirant in person of Umar Nasko against the APC aspirant ( Abu Sani Bello lolo ) , but now I have hope. Also I do like to ask , who is APC governorship aspirant for Delta state? |

Ymodulus: My brother, the PDP will quickly come to appreciate the saying "you are nothing without power". Especially under Buhari who has an obsession with insisting the right things be done. I am encouraging desperados to spend their fortune trying to rig themselves into power. Things are about to change. |

I am proud of the contribution all of us Buhari supporters have made in the effort to promote our General. Let us savour the moment, but we need to protect him from enemies of Nigeria who would like to truncate his rule. We must continue to work hard to protect the General in anyway we can in order to protect and preserve our progress and prosperity. PervyByNature: |

Gbawe: SS/SE and Nigeria at large should show concern about the trend in SS/SE states that delayed election results. The fact that there was 80-90% voter turnout when the average across the NE/NW/SW & NC was 50% begs the question of what happened? The people that protested, are they part of that 80-90%? The fact that electoral observers were not allowed to witness the election result collation is also worrisome. There is no guarantee the trend won't repeat for the governorship election. There's only so much General Buhari can do after the fact. As we know, tribunal business is tedious business that isn't always fair. |

jafre: With the card readers, you can mainly rig at collation stage. This is why the SE and SS results were delayed to allow them inflate the figures. It was during collation stage the 'magic figures' were formulated. Inspection of materials later, which must not be destroyed, would show inflating of votes at collation stage. Buhari would not need to do much. He just need to direct uncompromisingly that allegations of malpractices be looked at thoroughly and exhaustively and I believe rigging will be exposed easily. 2 Likes |

Gbawe: Sounds like I'm whining, but I've got concerns. Going from the experience on March 28, most of the SS/SE did not use the card readers. They opted for manual accreditation claiming the card reader wasn't functioning. As we know, indeed there were some issue with card readers across the country. For a state like Delta, the total accredited voters was about 90% of the collected PVC. About 90% voted for PDP. Its also noteworthy that Delta state was among the last states to present results. One wonders what they were doing for 2 days (manufacturing votes?) Indeed, the card reader would checkmate massive rigging, however with its performance in elections so far, the option for manual accreditation opens opportunities for rigging as we've seen in previous years. For any chance of credible elections on April 11, Jega must address the card reader inefficiencies. Hence reduce the reliance on manual accreditation that supports rigging. |

Its Official now.. Wasn't doubting though. Just wanted it Official. Congratulations to: a. Nigerians b. Rtd. General Muhammadu Buhari, (President Elect) c. Prof. Yemi Osinbajo (Vice-President Elect) d. APC for being the winning team in the recently concluded presidential election. As a staunch progressive, I'm looking forward to a Nigeria with minimum public mediocrity, corruption, nepotism, tribalism, religious intolerance and incompetence. |

I feel so honoured to be part of the nairaland Progressives. We stood together for a worthy cause and I feel so fulfilled, now that our labour has been crowned with success. I say kudos to all who stood for General Muhammadu Buhari, through thick and thin and kept going even when there were a thousand reasons to back down. Now, let us not get carried away by the euphoria of the moment. Let's maintain our focus on the task ahead and unleash our strength on setting our country Nigeria on the path to greatness again, with the same or even more fervour and determination which brought us this far. I want to also say a big thank you to Barcanista. Your progressive articles were quite useful to me in campaigning for GMB. God bless Nigeria. 1 Like |
