Why are they igbos happy like this. Been reading this thread from beginning to end and I haven't seen upto 10 people from the south south talk. It's d igbos that are gloating and instigating war just like how u people ran jonathan down. U people are the main reason jonathan failed. U made him see yorubas as the enemy. Now u are pushing south south to a war. When u and I no that most igbos will never fight another war. U just want to push them and watch them battle. What happens to all your investments outside the east. Or do u think having a house alone in the east is investment. Do u think if wahala start na only hausa and Yoruba go suffer. Infact hausas will enjoy the most cus those ones are used to suffering plus they have food. The goods u people import, shey na paper people go use buy am.

You people keep making the same mistake over and over again. You guys are just incorrigible. Asari dokubo can be bought. He has a price. Niger delta militants can be bought. When they are given juicy appointments and they begin to sing a new tune what happens to d igbos again?? U people never learn. Do u people understand the word neutral........anyway. This na just Internet talk.

Nairaland has turn Asari Dokubo into a celebrity.
Nonsense.
Am still waiting for nigeria govt reaction to Orubebe.
He must face the music.
He made a whole nation to stand still for 45mins. For a wrong reason.
If this guy goes free, Nig govt should know they have set a precedent!

Well, i write boldly so all can see clearly.

The earlier we stop deceiving ourselves in this country that we are ONE NIGERIA, the better it will be for us. Nigeria has never been one, it's not one and it can never be one. Let's just stop deceving ourselves while we keep forcing ourselves into this unworkable union. The obvious is already there. Looking at the pattern of votings and the results in the just concluded presidential election, one needs not be told that Nigeria is not one. Incase you still not understand what i mean, this is it.

All the northerners voted in favour of their brother (Buhari), same went to westerners for their brother (Osinbanjo) and even also same to the easterners/southerners for their brother (GEJ). No tribe wanted their brother to fail in the race knowing fully well that apart from political affiliation, a brother from the same tribe is a true brother. I then ask, why do we still deceive ourselves into a forceful union?

All the northerners residing in the east/south left the areas to go vote massively for their tribe man, not for the interest of the "one nation", but for the fact that he is a tribe man. They all voted and got their mission accomplished and then came back to the south/east and start their business again.

Well, sooner than expected, a day shall come when we, the southerners shall shed blood, kill and destroy unimaginably and from that day, the nation called Nigeria shall stop to exist.

Mark Today's date.

This stupid man should tell us how it was possible for JEG to ever become a president without the support of the North and SW that he's now castigating.

The oil you guys keep harping on belongs to Nigeria as a whole. The fact that it is found in your region is the reason you get lion share from the proceed. Also, before oil Nigeria was financed from the proceeds of other commodities found in the North and the SW. So save the crap and behave yourselves.

Everything that Dokubo said is true. Nigeria is far from a united country. Nigeria is a collection of ethnicities that mistrust and dislike each other so why are we together? It is most unfortunate that the south-south could not see what we Igbos and Ojukwu saw almost 50 years ago when we declared Biafra, that the SS/SE people have nothing in common with the northerners and that the Yorubas will perpetually help the Hausa man to enslave us. It is unfortunate that SS then went ahead to sabotage Biafra. Had they listened and trusted Ojukwu, we would not be listening to any 'Sai Buhari' today. Finally the SS realise that Igbos are the only true friends they have. Nigeria is a fraud brought by the white man and perpetuated by the Yoruba/Hausa alliance. What gives the Yoruba or Hausa man the right to tell the Igbos, a tribe of over 35 million people, who their president should be? Because of a none existent one Nigeria? What nonsense? The people of the SS should take back their God given Oil and Gas wealth because the truth is that if a South-South president is not good enough for Nigeria, then Nigeria is not good enough for the south-south Oil. There is no integration in Nigeria, no patriotism and my fatherland is not Sokoto or Ibadan. Nigeria should be divided and constituent people who make it up should go their separate ways and stop given each other headache. A fraud can only carry on for so long, and one day, this ' failed British experiment' called "Nigeria" will surely come to an end . Amen

I've heard nonsense in this thread.

So, he wants to incite war because the other ethnic groups are going against Jonathan? Because we're all ganging up on him? Spare me.

When he won the election in 2011, we ganged up on him, right?

No one is saying that some people don't vote based on ethnic or religious sentiment, but to say that we vote out an amazing president because he's not of the same ethnicity is ridiculous. The whole point is that he wasn't amazing to most people.

From this thread we can obviously see some people wished for him to spend 10 years in power, and because that didn't come to fruition, they're butt-hurt? Cry me a river.

So Buhari should relinquish power to avoid civil war, or what?

You're all entitled to your opinions, but we're entitled to our thoughts about the intelligence of yours.
