But truly, this has always been the practice in soo many secondary schools for a long time, but I think it is high time for it to stop.

Two points

1. This shows the level at which corpers are mistreated at their place of primary assignment by bosses. This is not the first time it is happening. Either something is done...or we scrap NYSC and leave village schools to find teachers by themselves.

2.Why is cheating so prevalent in Nigerian schools.

First...many of these schools,especially in the rural areas are poorly equipped and poorly funded. I won't be surprised in the N12000 charged was meant to be used as a means to supplement the schools annual funding. All these problems started in the 1970's when the Government then took over all the mission schools...and by extension added extra burden on themselves.Poorly funded schools do not produce good students.

In my opinion...primary and secondary education is more important than university education. So....let us make the universities and Polys public private....and redirect more funds to our primary and secondary schools.

Second...our teachers themselves are not well trained. If they were, they would be able to train the kids well. The problem is standards of entry into many a teachers college are so poor that at the end of the day we produce poorly prepared graduates. Perhaps we must follow the nation of Finland amd make it mandatory for students entering teacher training colleges to have very high JAMB scores....and five credits at WAEC....English, Maths inclusive...at one sitting. And we must make teachers get to masters level before they can teach.

A pity. Things must change. This is so annoying.

It's a shame. When I served in Rivers state I was singled out as the "sturborn corper". The South south is awashed with this practice. I am happy to see this letter from this corper. This is what ICPC should be dealing with. This proprietor and LI should be taken immediately. Pls post this on Buhari's twitter page, spread the news on facebook. This duo ( LI and proprietor needs to be shamed)

The first test of Buhari's Administration.. make sure you do not allow this case die down.. as soon as the president elect is sworn in, kindly revisit this issue and make a noise about it.

my local government inspector also messed up during the PVC distribution only girls he liked was selected for the distribution of PVC and they are working in school been payed too a why we the local government workers who where idol where not selected a petition was writing against him and he was quickly change .... well done

such things also happen in remote government secondary schools also.

This thing should not be taken for granted. Anyone who has the power or know anyone who know anyone that has the power to investigate, please help us push this case. This is just the root of corrupt practices.

I BELIEVE SERIOUSLY THAT THE COPPER IS SERIOUSLY AT FAULT...
