That act looked simple but trust me, it is not in our leaders to accept defeat easily. Buhari in 2011 didn't accept hence the loss of lives up north. If Jonathan had kept quiet or showed any sign of non acceptance, some disgruntled persons would have caused trouble and lives will be lost for no reason.
