If u saw the advert on olx or any public site I won't complain, but the ad was on Nairaland, that's even scary.

They can ban us on Nairaland but there's no system to check the validity of information been hosted on this site

Shame!

A real shame especially all these bas#$tard FOREX Scammers all over the Business Section.. all of them are scammers not one of them is a real deal

Little things like dese can make this forum better especially given that apart from visitors number nothing has improved in this forum since I joined it, even 2go get update

FreshNaijaBoy:
Saw a job ad on nairaland inviting economics graduates line to apply. I did and sent my CV. On Monday, I was mailed to come along with my credentials to agbara.
Apprehensively, I called the number attached and asked What's the job about. She said she works in nestle But It's actually vitamalt That's employing people. Said they needed us as supervisors.
Long Tory short, I told her I was coming from ibadan and would like to reschedule. She said I can't.
So i left IB 5am yesterday and headed to agbara. She said I should call Wen I get to nestle, she will come pick me up before 12. I got there like 9 and called. She said I should give here 10minutes she will come pick me up. I waited outside the gate till she messaged I should go and wait in a certain restaurant till her her lunch break. I couldn't locate the restaurant and I came back to the gate. I called and she said I should wait, she went to pick the other applicants. O waited. At a point, I called again, this time, losing my temper. A guy picked and said I should be coming down to Agbara police station. apparently, the guy is a police officer.
I was mad.
I got there And met the scenario.

The said lady I ve Been looking for, who supposedly works in nestle, looks least fresher than me. She get correct "bearbear" under her chin and her two lower teeth are missing. Wtf!!!!
I digress.
An applicant had gotten to the restaurant earlier and met the nestle lady. They talked and she had started the whole scam message on me, telling him he will get the job and all But he would Have to pay #15k to sign an affidavit. **Affi what??***
My guy just held her and told her they'll pay the black uniform guys a visit. She resisted and said she won't begging the girl with #800 to cover his transportation fare. Smart guy just told the restaurant peeps he will disrupt the whole place and wont allow any customer in unless they go help him call the police. Swiftly, they went. And they ended in the station.

So we all filled our statements and I filled mine as a witness. Funny enough, the girl was saying we contacted her for job and not the other way round. I laughed with my gap tooth like Buhari. ** sis, like seriously!!!! After sending me an invite thru email? **
That's when I decided she won't go just like that.  I demanded for my transportation money and the guy demanded for his too. She come dey look like fool. ** A se were o ni owo kankan lowo ** last last, she called a guy and they were begging me one thousand, I refused. I wanted #4k. My guy had to leave early for another interview while I stayed put to monitor proceedings. In short, she slept in the cell oo. I went back 10am today and she's still there, no single Kobo in her pocket and I come dey pity her self. Jobless fool wey she be!
I told the officers I had to get back to Ibadan But the other guy will come around in the evening to withdraw the case and let her leave. **calm down, I know you'd say let her rust there, Lol** I've learnt another lesson in the job hunting market and I swear down, she's learnt hers too.
Life goes on.
Unto the next one.

P.S.
Shout out to Wale....... he was the smart guy.
Shout out to the guy that called the "nestle girl" around 6:30pm telling her He's still waiting at nestle gate for her. Bro, the police officer you spoke to said you. should be going back to ikotun jejely. Nna M, Jah bless your hustle.
