OBJ contested against GMB in 2003 , OBJ got the SW votes emblock irrespective of party affiliation. now tell me how it would have been if one governor did not support OBJ then and somehow he lost the election. Then someone from MB was advising the yorubas to still vote that governor.

Abeg forget rochas, he will need all of tinubu's funds and massive rigging to win, but trust me he is gone and for good.

If the entire SS and SE becomes opposition , that will be just fine. makes it easier to get better bargains in 2019. just watch.
What you don't understand is that SS/SE alone cannot beat SW,NC,NE,andNW. You need to reconcile if you really want presidency

So basically Imolites should vote him in because of what the North thinks of him? And what Igbo cause has Rochas protected? I'd honestly like to know
I am saying he should be voted for because of his performance. Rochas has performed better than the previous 2 imo governors. He is one of the best Igbo governor and only Gov. Chime of Enugu can be compare to Rochas in term of performance.

The OP is essentially saying, sorry threatening, that the people of the SE should vote for Okorocha in the Gov election else APC would reduce their monthly allocations. undecided

If in 2023, APC presents a south western president and a Northern vice president, and PDP presents a Northern president and an Igbo vice, who do you think the average northerner would vote for? PDP or APC.

Be realistic. SW actions in this election means that the North would continue producing the president of Nigeria for atleast the next 50 years, if Nigeria continue to exist.

Actions would always bring opposite reactions.
You are a novice in Nigeria politics. You need to study history of Nigeria politics. In 1994, Abiola won against a northern man Bashir Tofa in almost all the northern state and southern state. GEJ lost because his performance was below average and PDP failed woefully in performance in the last 16 years.

If APC perform very well from now till 2019 and 2023 by giving Nigeria 24 hours electricity, reducing corruption and improving our economy and security. Even if they produce a man from Ghana as their presidential candidate Nigerians will vote massively for him.

True! We need some moment to assess things and 're strategize, an APC free Igboland is very crucial at this moment.

I hope Imolites come out to vote, many are psychologically down this moment, if they don't come out to vote, it makes Rochas victory easy.

Buhari, I am sure would reward Mallam Rochas with a ministerial post.

Anambra has done their part by voting out Ngige, imo must do their part.
Dat is why I keep tellin ppl dat wat u igbo-oids have 4 Buhari & APC iz jez deep hatred!

Gov Chime Sullivan and Rochas Okorochas are the two best Igbo governors presently. Please don't take Imo state back to the days of Ohakim and Imo don't want some like Ochendo as their Gov. Also the pdp candidate Emeka Ihedioha is not different from Ochendo or Ohakim. So Imo should learn from the mistake of Abia.

There will never be a greater opposition than that Ndiigbo posed in 1967-70.

Who are the sell outs? Is that a question? You teamed up with the North to wrestle power from the south, and as usual, not for yourself, but for your Northern masters, why does this sound like 1967 all over again, lol! With Osubade( lol) the New Awo or is it Tinubu?

Ndiigbo played the biggest opposition the country has ever seen, we stood against the North and their slaves for 3years, now that's opposition in every sense of it.

The Yorubas have set a presidence for Northern domination, for when the time comes for SW presidency, the SE/SS would pay them back in full, we would see if the North prefers a Northern VP to a Northern president.

The facts are that Ndiigbo stood with Ojukwu from the beginning to the end, and we did the same with GEJ, that's discipline, faithfulness and loyalty, traits that are non existent amongst your kind.
U must be sick wit avian influenza or somethin similar!

Igbo stood by Ojukwu?

Why do fools continue to write trash all in the name of advising the Igbos politically? If Rochas perform well in his 4 years, definitely, he will be returned but these fools are not in a position to tell the Imolites how to access and evaluate the performance of Rochas.

Talking about opposition, the SW always pride themselves as the king of opposition in Nigeria calling the SE AGIP. now we are playing the opposition and they still complain. Why did SW states voted for ACN when they know that PDP is the party at the center? If they know before now that voting for opposition governors is a mistake, why did they make it in 2011?

You guys have just won an election, be magnanimous and stop threatening people. If you say that GMB will cut allocation to opposition states like GEJ, then where is the change you fools are talking about?

Spot bro If the Eboes stay in opposition I will surely join because not everyone supports Tinubu 100%. This APC victory is just a bus stop and not a destination. But still Eboes need to stop hating and form alliances with the SW and the North that are about a clear agenda and not just power.Such alliances can be in other parties than APC or PDP

You are commanding Ndi Igbo to vote Rochas?I see you as juvenile for you to use the word MUST, back to the I personally like Rochas,If Ndi Imo feels that he has performed they would re-elect him, if not then he should go Concerning opposition to the central govt, nobody with hold what is accruable to you cos you are in opposition, the case of osun is that they borrowed excessively and the central govt had to deduct their allocation.

Hahaha! They think Igbos are like Osun people who depend on civil servant wages. Let them ask themselves where Igbos got the money to rebuild the East after it was razed by Hausas and their yoruba appendages. Onitsha, Aba, Awka, Enugu where razed to the ground during the war, not a kobo was spent by the successive central governments to rebuild it, does anywhere look like a brown-roof territory? LoL.

Buhari can starve the East for all i care but one positive thing is the Eastern bloc will be united for the first time since 1960s. We won't need an APC-controlled Igbo state to be a clog in our wheel of Reunification and Re-Evaluation, it will divide Igboland. I want to see an Eastern governors meeting where All governors will be present, that can't happen with APC in control of any Eastern state.
For this, Rochas must be voted out to Abuja while APGA or PDP takes over Imo. He is good man but the survival of Igboland is greater than his interest.

Imo people owe Igboland this favour or we will wake up one day and have tinubu's daughter and other Babalojas ordering the closure of Onitsha mainmarket, Ariaria or Douglas market. Tufiakwa!

We must present a credible opposition and stand together as we stood for GEJ by voting out anything APC whether it is in human form or in spirit. If we refuse to do this the Igbo Nation is done for!

Imolites should not make the mistake of voting Rochas out. I personally think he is the best governor in Imo state since 1999. Also I see Rochas as a rising star in the East and might end up becoming the first Igbo President. Rochas is love in the north for standing with Buhari even against the wish of his people. Also Rochas is very fluent in Hausa because he was born and grew up in the north. Rochas is the only Igbo man that I think can win election in the north if the presidency is zone to the Igbos by the 2 major parties.
I really hope the people of Imo should vote for Rochas due to his performance as a governor and the potential of him being a national Igbo leader that would protect the cause of the Igbos in the new federal government
After 4 years as Imo state governor, I can't point to anything I've benefitted from Rochas' government as an Imo indigene.
This your presidency trash doesn't hold water.
People will ask what he did for them as governor befor talking about Presidency.

The problem with the Imo, is that the opposition in Ihedioha (PDP) and Iheanacho(APGA) would divide each other's vote, allowing Rochas easy victory.

Can't Ihedioha and Iheanacho come to an agreement and present a United front. They need to close ranks and ensure Rochas defeat. If they both contest against Rochas, they will both lose. One of them must step down, that's the only solution.
