When he's 20 and above. A family friend didn't tell their son he was adopted till he had graduated and started working. When he was told, he changed his surname to his biological dad's. Aside that, everything turned out well. If you tell them when they are younger, they might misinterprete a reprimand to mean maltreatment. |

Dyt: I believe it is necessary as health issues do abound as well as family health history might need to be known. Not looking for blood/help in the wrong direction. |
