agaugust: http://www.deagel.com/Air-to-Air-Missiles/PL-9_a002626001.aspx "The PL-9C is an improved variant introduced in the 1990s featuring extended range from 5 kilometers to 22 kilometers and increased launch weight (115 kg vs. 123 kg), warhead (10 kg vs. 12 kg) and G maneuvering factor (35g vs. 40g). The PL-9D is a surface-to-air missile variant also introduced in the 1990s. The PL-9D missile system has been ordered by the People's Liberation Army (PLA) ground forces."

Patchesagain: A-Darter is an anti-aircraft missile NOT an anti-missile missile....it does not have that hypersonic speed. A-Darter was tested against a freaking slow Drone of 1,000 km / h speed. PL-9C speed is about 4,000 km / h super speed !!!!!! Ya gotta freaking A-Darter with 20 km range. Short-Legged missile . 1 Like |

Patchesagain: According to SIPRI, the radars you have were purchased for civilian installation, just like our own. Same grade. Same way we also bring ours in as civilian and use them for NAF air ops, we upgraded our radars recently around year 2010 . 1 Like |

agaugust: As i suspected. He will now claim that this capability is false. Last kicks of a dying horse Email Diehl Defence in Germany. Tell them that Iris-T IS NOT a self defence missile. Tell them that they are frauds, advertising a capability that DOES NOT exist with 4000 missiles already produced. You, Augustine are calling them frauds. Then email Denel in Centurion. Tell them A-Darter IS NOT a self defence missile. Tell them that they are frauds, advertising a capability that DOES NOT exist with 300 missiles to be produced. You, Augustine are calling them frauds. |

saengine: Thanks , but I don't care. PL-9C is the air and ground launch with 35 km range. I don't care about PL-9D, it is NOT on the manufacturers website product list, and army recognition did not include it in the website, it says PL-9C has 35 km range, that is all I care about . 1 Like |

Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Patchesagain: 10:50am On Apr 05, 2015 |
agaugust: It clearly says the A-darter can shoot down missiles. It can also pull 100G turns. You dont need to be fast to hit a target coming straight at you. So, we shoot down your missiles and then shoot down your jets. Simple |

agaugust:"Ground and air launched PL-9C missiles are the same size, same misile, same fuel load, same speed, same shape, same specifications, same name PL-9C" You are going full re.tard again Augustine, Air to Air and Ground based missiles are definitely not the same, and the PL-9C is the Ground based missile and the PL-9 is the air to air variant. The Pl-9 only has a 22km range. 1 Like

agaugust: Your plane is a design from the 1960s Modern versions are upgrades of that design. But according to you upgrades dont count. Thus the F7 is 1960s tech - confirmed by YOU And since you have no air surveillance radar - we are 1000 years ahead |
Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by agaugust: 10:52am On Apr 05, 2015 |
saengine: Self defence missile means short range missile, every SRAAM is a self defence missile for defending an aircraft against another aircraft. You confuse that with anti-missile missile.....stop freaking yourself out dude ! . |
