Cool83: Is it bright red blood or just dark blood mixed with stool sort of thing? Either way, I would take this kid to a doctor pronto; need to figure out where this blood is coming from. TB is lower on the list of potential causes. Good luck. |

creampy: Maximum amount is 100mg/dose/day. Half life of viagra is 4hrs. So, technically, it is okay if 4 tablets in 7 days; assuming you have no relevant medical condition. Though most of viagra is excreted via feces, still be cautious if you have liver or kidney issues or taking drugs that will interfere with clearing viagra from your blood stream. |

creampy: Does he have diabetes or heard disease per chance?. There are some reasons why it may not be working well. The simplest one after low dosage, is not taking it properly. IT should be taken 30 minutes to 4 hours prior to inter*course. His testosterone may not be sufficient. In that case, he needs to get level checked. If low, can take supplemental testosterone. Other causes: vascular disease--too narrow of blood vessels. At worse case scenario, he can consult with a urologist for ED treatment options if continuous failure of Sildenafil. |

Immaangel: Should not need surgical evacuation if misoprostol is successful. Even if bleeding stops, I would still recommend visiting a gynecology for follow up and pelvic exam. Did you take oral or vaginal misoprostol? |

Joavid: Really? Are you sexually active? One cause of mono articular arthritis (one sided arthritis) in young people is gonococcal arthritis. If you are sexually active, go and get tested and start antibiotics. If not, then there's rheumatoid arthritis. In any case, see a doctor for a proper exam. If nothing is wrong, then wait it out. Or take pain reliever. Though you are way passed the age, it might just be "growing pains", and you just have to "wait" it out. 1 Like |

udmbat: If it is muscle strain/sprain, then best option is lots of stretching exercises and chiropractic manipulation (if there is such in Nigeria?). Try pain reliever in ibuprofen. If you are getting numbness, tingling, radiating pain; then it is best you proceed to a doctor for exam/imaging and appropriate treatment. Goodluck |

ultravires: Please, no need to apologise. It depends on the cause. What is your age range? Any medical condition? Any medications you are taking? If it is not organic, I mean if the problem isn't something wrong physically, then it might be psychological. How long has this being going on? You have new sexual partner? Stressed out? Feel free to ask any further questions etc. Best. |
Re: Doctor in the House: Free Medical Advice Available by Nobody: 1:41am On Apr 06, 2015 |
bangleslover: Hm. I don't know of any pain medicine that aggravates asthma. There is "ORAGEL". Can also try ibuprofen and the like. If not alleviating the pain, then there's stronger ones like narcotics, but I will not go there unless of absolute last resort. 1 Like |

Joavid:How often do you exercise and what kind of exercise do you do? Do you have any postural deviation at the knee (knock knee or bowed legs)? Well, see a doctor as soon as possible. You're too young for that trouble. |

Xiadnat: Gd am. Pls doc I was told I had a tilted uterus to the right. Does it mean retroverted or anteverted uterus. And does the tilted uterus to the right affect my chances of conceiving. Although I gave had a baby before. I heard a massage can help to reposition the uterus well. How true is this. Thanks |
Re: Doctor in the House: Free Medical Advice Available by ultravires(m): 9:50am On Apr 06, 2015 |
Xiadnat:i Thanks doc, i'm 24 yrs, not suffering frm any medical condition and not taking any medications. It all started late december last year. I just got into my first relationship b4 d itch started xo no sexual activities so far just d romance Buh doc do u think it could be linked to spiritual problem? Just curious. 10ks so much 4 ur tymly response |
Re: Doctor in the House: Free Medical Advice Available by Nobody: 4:58pm On Apr 06, 2015 |
mumtobe: Tilted uterus should not affect conception provided the reproductive structures (Fallopian tube, uterine wall) are relatively functional. Besides, if you have conceived before successfully, then nothing to worry about. I have never heard of uterus repositioning. I doubt there is a thing you can do about that. If your baby is breech, there is massaging to reposition baby, but that's all I have heard of remotely close. |
Re: Doctor in the House: Free Medical Advice Available by Nobody: 5:02pm On Apr 06, 2015 |
ultravires: I see. It is not spiritual problem in itself that is cause but your perception of it being 'spiritual'. Are you a spiritual/religious person? You may be internally or spiritually conflicted about your sexual behavior and that does play a very significant role I am going to say that your issues is likely psychological. If that's so, three options: abstain, visit a therapist and work it out, or keep at it and perhaps it will resolve on its own once you get more sexually confident. Good luck. |

Do you have diabetes per chance? Or any medical issues/surgeries? There is a condition called gastroparesis. But, I doubt it is it. I would suggest: gas relief medications such as beano, gas-x or tums. If this continues, go and obtain abdominal x-ray. Chumani: |
