Photo by @shaulschwarz April 5,2015 A statue of a penis is carried thoru the streets of Kawasaki, Japan at the annual Kanamara Matsuri Festival. The penis is the central theme of the parade held by the Kanayama Shrine. The shrine was popular among prostitutes who wished to pray for protection from sexually transmitted infections.
