My Logical view point: All things being equal, from Tuesday 14th April 2015, appointment letters ought to be served to successful candidates. And resumption might be slated for 4th of May.
Reasons : election would end by 11th of April, and election result would be announced by latest 13th.
Candidates might be given two weeks (which would elapse by Monday May 4th) to make arrangements for where they would be staying ahead of resumption at there new duty post (which may be outside there state of domicile).
Any contrasting opinion is welcome..........

It's my believe that the Fire and Security Officers will have to report for training since we don't have any experience on how things are done at the airports.
So after few weeks of training we might be given some days off to go and arrange ourselves and resume work immediately at which ever state we will be posted to. (Unconfirmed)

No objection. That's a possibility. My reservation is on the fire department. Nigeria don't have a fire training Institute. The closest one to us is in Cameron. However, they may invite the trainers to Nigeria, since we have enough equipments on ground.

I feel u bro, but just try and calm your self because to start with, being WORRIED now will never get ur appointment letter to u any sooner than Wen it will actually come... well in my own opinion, may be God is waking u up in d night for a reason, why don't u use that time to ask your creator to PERFECT wat He has started in ur life... becuz why worry wen u can pray? and why pray wen u can worry? department. He said the shortage of
personnel in fire fighting and safety is

rated a category 9 airport by ICAO ,
requires a minimum of 160 fire fighting
personnel, lamenting that what is on
ground is far below the recommendation of
the global aviation sector regulator.

personnel is a big challenge for us . We are

“We are also trying to bring back some of
our retirees to improve the department

based on this report, we are all getting our appointment letters. No doubt about that

I called one of the FAAN staff that do the recruitment for us, according to him when I asked,He said they sit on it,even as at today sunday they are all in the office working on the posting..
But he assure me that everything will be done in two weeks time

At Enugu center on Tuesday 17th I overheared one instructor (the tall and hefty instructor that wore black joggers, Enugu center PFT candidates may know him) telling one female candidate that in the next one or two weeks that appointment letter will be ready.
If it will be possible I don't know but that was what I heared directly.

You all should relax. FAAN does not owe anybody anything or information whatsoever. Some companies will not even contact you for close to eight months or sometimes a year after an interview. Just. Get. On with your lives. And if they do contact us fine, if they don't life goes on abi?

A realist wannabe. I hope you would take it easy on yourself and move on if they contact everyone except you. I think It's human to be overly anxious and expectant at a time like this. You need to shove this your "move on with your life " sermon back into your throat. If you don't have better ways of telling people not to worry.

It is only those dat successfully scaled tru d PFT that is contacted for interview. Some pple dat had PFT on the 17th and 18th wia called for interview the next day. So if u havent gotten a notification up till now, My brother use ur tongue to count ur teeth.
They are probably working on posting those who successfully passed the interview.
