Perceptor: ^^^Quick question: Just where and where exactly do you understand Igboland to be? For instance, if i were to ask you if Igboland extends into Rivers State what would your answer be? Nigeria built Lagos....let me know if you have a problem with that assertion! Cheers! |

IGBOSON1: IGBOSON1: Are you now playing to the gallery? Kindly restate your questions without insults and I would be glad to attend to them. Remember I asked you really kindly this morning why you were so bitter to the point of saying you hated Nigeria, but you failed to state your grievances. IGBOSON1: This time, detach emotions, and state your case. 3 Likes 1 Share |

IGBOSON1:Lagos is in the south west. Just like how people can't claim ownership of Niger delta oil, you cannot claim ownership of lagos or call it a no mans land. That's extremely unfair 5 Likes |

Scatterboss: If you have been following me here, you will know my stance on my people's obsession with Lagos. My view is a rare one in Igboland, but I believe Ndiigbo have to stop our obsession with Lagos and look toward Igboland instead to build a Lagos of our own. I believe that the obsession with Lagos is behind my people's Call for second Niger bridge, and I believe we lose as a people if we continue this way, our obsession with Lagos helps Lagos retain its status as commercial and industrial capital of Nigeria, when we should actually be working for a way to dethrone and surpass Lagos as the Commercial and industrial nerve of Nigeria, this was Okpara's vision, he was positioning PH to that effect. But in the modern era, we have to look beyond Ph for obvious reasons. Rather than waste money on a silly second Niger bridge, we should spend the money on building Obuaku sea port, relocate our industries and businesses from Lagos to that part of Abia state, and from there reach out the the rest of Nigeria andthe world. the port would allow Aba and Onitsha grow to their full potentials and allow us base our industries at home, while we open distribution centres throughout the country. It would also keep our Youths employed and reduce their migration outside Igboland. It will increase the IGR of our states and generally improve our living standards. I see the very obsession with Lagos by some Ndiigbo as anti Igbo, but the Igbos in Lagos tell me that my dreams and projections are unrealistic. 5 Likes |

Finally, we igbos dey talk too much sha. How will you say Lagos is no man's land. Please yorubas ignore all that, I assure you that most igbos in Lagos don't have that impression/line of thinking and even those that think like that; it's just mouth and nothing more. Please no need for hating the whole tribe. we are one. 6 Likes 1 Share |

chamboy:mumu haven't u been reading up lately... Anambra got oil, imo got oil, am too sure about these two states.... Meanwhile oil is not our problem cos the igbos has been surviving without the oil.... Hausa has the richest man in Africa all thanks to his brothers in power then.... But get this to ur dumb skull... Igbo remains the richest tribe in the whole of Africa with or without oil, with or without the federal government, we make way where there is no way, And that's why we control the economy of every single state in Nigeria.. U should be great full for that... Dig that sukaaa? |

Codedrunscom:No Madam, PDP gubernatorial candidate is also a son of the soil in Lagos. What we are saying is that PDP campaign is too divisive and pitching the Igbo and Yoruba against each others. Campaign is not about tribe as PDP is taking it now. Soo, AGBAJE is as good and qualify as AMBODE and the two of them remains aboriginal sons of Lagos. 1 Like |

IGBOSON1:Foolish! that's an example of unecessary attachment you ppl claim wt other ethnic grps. the basic ethnic grp in rivers aint igbo, south east is igboland nt south south. and concerning lagos, it was developed because it had potentials to be d source of economic development to nigeria. such potentials were nt found in ur land even till present days, and dats why lagos state is d only hope for igbo pple to make it. 3 Likes 1 Share |
