Sorry to ask o. But it sounds like your aren't a techie/technology freak. Upgrading to Lollipop right now requires some technical know-how. Just to check do you know how to boot to download mode?

Happy Easter Bro. I've got a galaxy note 3 N9500 4G LTE running on 4.4.2. Pls is it upgradable to lollipop 5.0.1 the latest version of the lollipop? Can you help me with reliable and trusted links? Do you know any one who has done this upgrade manually I mean not OTA? Were there any glitches? Thanks alot

What's the manufacturer code for the Note 3? The note 4 is N910. Confirm that the Note 3 is N900

Your brother's phone has either a Snapdragon soc (system on chip) from Qualcomm or an Exynos soc from Samsung. You cannot tweak the imei of phones with such chips, at least not safely. The imei of phones with MediaTek chips are more easily tweaked.
