I have try as much as possible to resist myself from writting, but the needs became ponderous. The fact that you have sold away your opportunity ti clinch a weighty position in the incoming administration. Any tactics to get this position will not be entertain.

To my main reason of writting this today, the recent speech and video acclaimed to the OBA of Lagos regarding the death treat to igbos in Lagos. The online reaction of many igbo groups and personnel is very irritating.

To the Oba utterance, it maybe a slip of tongue as anybody can make a mistake moreover Mama peace once said stone anybody who tell you change. In another campaign of Mr. President Jonathan he said I will create unemployment for all Nigerians youth.

The 48 hours ultimatum of Ohanaeze is a slur which I think they also need to apologise to. There is no way you can be inferior to something which belong to you. Weather you like it or not OBA Riliwan is still the number one in Lagos state at large.

My dear Igbos, you people have transgress, you trying feel important in another person land. Which we are not doing in ABA or ONISHA. Did you know the saying of yoruba? AJO KO LE DA BI LE (there can never be a place like home)

You are a stranger in Lagos and you need to humble and abide yourself to the wish of the people

The king have give a candid advice for you to vote for his preferred candidate.

If all IGBOS in Lagos should vote for AGBAJE he will still loose

As the OBA have said AGBAJE can never be the governor of Lagos for now

So why is this a problem for the Oba? Since our votes will not influence the outcome of the elections then why threatening people with death? There are Yorubas supporting Agbaje too, I have spoken with many of them and they want Agbaje. My question is will those Yorubas drown as well? Why is the curse/threat directed at the Igbo only? Are we the only ethnic group in Lagos?

In a simple term, what the OBA is trying to tell you is to leave the politics of lagos for us, imagine ifeanyi ubah leading a campaign for Agbaje, that is trespassing

It was Agbaje that reached to fellow Nigerians from the east to support him and they obliged, what is wrong with that? Is Agbaje an Igbo man?

[size=18pt]you guys should keep on fueling the fires of hate and anarchy. When the it starts burning, it will consume all iof you and there will be nothing left for your children that is if any of you survive to procreate.
It looks like a joke now.
Yoruba against Igbo
Igbo against Yoruba.
Small small all of you are using the social media to fan the flames of war. Look at other African counties where religion and tribe is causing so much unrest and see that you're following their pattern.
God help you guys. When it starts, all the politicians and the rich people will flee abroad with their families and you would be left to live the horror of it with your innocent children torn apart limb by limb and your wives raped and murdered in your presence.

Keep on being xtupid. Thank you very much.

I truly and sincerely remain confused.
First I think the words of the Oba was blown out of proportion by media.
I have repeatedly condemned any igbo man for seeking any political office in the SW.
But what I cannot not relate with is why I citizen of a country should be told whom or where to vote forcefully?
If a candidate spoke to your issues why will you not vote him.
Most of my yoruba friends are voting agbaje while some of my igbo friends are voting Ambode. Both are bore out of what they stand to gain from both administration nothing more nothing less.
How this became an igbo and yoruba thing if really silly. Now it has preyed into the hands of the media who will escalate the mess to a whole new height.

OP, you are a disgrace to manhood as well as to literacy! Na your mama i pity!!! Bastaarrd son of a mad pig!!!! One thing you people must know, is that igbos are survivors! Nigerian ethnic cleansing/genocide called civil war, couldnt wipe us out......so i assure you that if you and your filthy likes, want to continue fanning the embers of ethnic violence between Igbos and rorobbers, it wont take up to one month for yorobbers to be wiped out of the surface of this earth.

Oba Akiolu spoke out of line for a king. A noble mind should address issues with wisdom. However, one can sense his desperation in these sensitive times, and no king of any kingdom (even the Igbo kings) wouldn't have done likewise or even worse.

Yorubas have an adage that says awolumate o mowon ara re meaning a stranger who doesn't enter into trouble in a strange land, knows and respects his bounds. This is why you'll never hear of yorubas defiance in another land.

I am if the opinion that the Igbo should thread very carefully, no matter what you say, Lagos is the Yoruba's - and if things get too heated up we will know who owns the land. Yoruba have been tagged the most cowardly in Nigeria, this isn't true when war finally starts. You can ask the hausas in sagamu what happened in 1999.

Even jimi agbaje needs to watch it dearly not to be exiled.

YOU CAN NEVER WIN THE WAR WITH ANOTHER MAN ON HIS OWN LAND

^^^ How come the same people who wud stop @ notin to claiming sophistication are mere dafts? If @ this stage u aint yet aware that Nigeria is in a democracy i wonder what ur so called sophistication means. Now get some schooling right in here.
Now listen, We are not practising monarchy system of government (go read up features of democracy and monarchy system of govts to tilt u and ur lame oba to modern realities) thus, the Oba has no right whatsoever to make such filthy & realistic demand of the stone age.
Besides, the igbos arent partaking in yoruba traditional and cultural processes of selecting who becomes a traditional ruler of the people as such, the issue @ stake is totally different from what the oba is making up.
Lastly, why single out the Igbos for elimination in a democratic setting even thou a handful of yorubas will vote for JK? Wait a minute, does it mean the yorubas who wud vote for JK aren't good for elimination aswell?
Hear this, every attempt @ justifying the oba's incendiary remarks wud make the justifier and oba look absurd in reasoning and mentally deranged in a world saturated by sane beings. C'est fini.
