A lot of men value a 'youthful' woman. There are very few men who don't bother much about having a 'fresh one'. These women know this. When you ask her about her age, especially within a short period of meeting her, this gives her the impression that you're not among the few. This could make her feel uncomfortable.

In my opinion, these women are probably already insecure. That question just brings it to the surface. A confident woman will not hesitate to give an honest answer to that question if required. This insecurity is mainly due to upbringing and society.

Scared of being alone for life. Well if I'm still alone by thirty, which I don't hope to be........if I'm not too corrupt by then, I would still say my age very humbly( hopefully o) maybe with a cynical look on my face.

I've been pondering over what could be the possible cause of this trend for the past two years and I came to this conclusion that 98% of ladies that have attained an advanced marriageable age you come across with the intent to date or have a relationship with is usually 25 years of age.

What could be responsible for this level of deceit ? I'm old enough to know the age range of someone I'm talking with, but to my utter dismay these ladies blatantly lie to my face and when you get to find out about their real age ,they simply smile over it and behave as if nothing happened.Funny though I've seen this same trend across three different major cities of Nigeria and I am not finding it funny anymore.

I want our beautiful ladies in the house to help us with answers here, because it's beginning to look like every mature girl you come across would always lie about their real age.

And please guys too with similar experience should help.

You're perfectly right about the highlighted.......But can we always blame this whole thing squarely on insecurity?

Don't you think the societal pressure on the age of women as it concerns marriage is solely the major factor to blame for this unhealthy lifestyle.

yes o.... Only in my own case, she lied about being older than her actual age. Few years later, I found out she's just 2yrs older than I am.... Well the inflated age didnt stop me from Kpanshing that booty even though I thought she was 4yrs older.
