Why Are Igbo Towns 98% Indigenous? by PentiumPro(f): 1:18am On Apr 08, 2015 |
Why is it that all Igbo towns are mostly made up of indigenous Igbos People will rather go to Calabar, Port Harcourt or Uyo than to stop at Onitsha which is closer. Is it that Igbos are not friendly or there are not enough opportunities outside buying and selling in these igbo towns and cities. 62 Likes 4 Shares |

Someone one said on another forum that Igbos are the least accommodating tribe in Nigeria, that even in BH infested towns such as Damaturu and Maiduguri you will see more non indigenous population more than you can see in igbo cities and towns. 112 Likes 4 Shares |

Yes some igbo are not accommodating people. But I dont think, you will say, they are the least, many ethnic group in nigeria are very tribalist. the igbo live in close circle and never allow other group in. Now most people will think , the north are the least accommodating, the way the election went. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WpwgbXPhh70 11 Likes 1 Share |

Ibos are very hostile people even to fellow ibos Some years ago the governor of Abia sacked all non indigene even those from other Ibo states On this forum you would see thread from Anambra attacking Imo, Anambra vs Enugu. Have you ever seen an Oyo vs Osun or Ondo thread before? 126 Likes 10 Shares |

PentiumPro: Segun Adewole, Igbos do not live in yorubaland. Have you ever seen an Igbo man in muddy Osun forest?. Igbos go to lagos where oil money from eastern states like Imo, Abia, Rivers, Delta was used to develop. Igbos do not live in mud houses. They can't survive in your mud-built yorubaland. 74 Likes 2 Shares |

When did Jonathan and his cohorts turned to Obj and Tinubu? or do you think by keep saying that will make it disappear? You will soon find out that they don't fall under Buhari. only jonathan and members of his cabinet can be probed by Buhari! BlackTechnology: 3 Likes |

raumdeuter:You may be correct. My flatmate at University some years ago is from Enugu and he tells me so many strange stories of how people poison each others palm wine and beer in their village all cos of jealousy and envy. Imagine, neighbours trying to kill each other cos of envy. I still find it hard to believe though. raumdeuter: **grins** Dayo, We've read about yorubaland, where Ijebus look down upon osogbo and other beggarly yoruba sub-set(even shymexx here on NL believes Ijebus are superior yorubas to other ragtag subset). Many other yorubas consider Ijebus stingy and greedy and won't even marry them. Many Ijebus even prefer Igbos) Modakeke people are still at loggerheads with Ife people. The general yoruba tribe are confused about who's greater between Oni of Ife and Alafin of Oyo. Ife people no gree for Oyo and vice versa. Many yorubas despise yorubas in kwara and call them afonja (betrayers). Many yoruba christians will prefer marrying Igbo christians than marry yoruba muslims. The list goes on. E full internet. Yarn me more. **LOLS** 103 Likes 10 Shares |

OperationIgrigi: Yorubas were also having deadly wrestling matches amongst themselves they called Kirijiri war or something like that, I guess they don't know the meaning of war, they were at each other's throat, they couldn't tolerate each other. The Nigerian project helped them and gave them unity, Akintola and Awo simply helped them channel the hatred they had for each other towards Ndiigbo, in Igbo hatred, they were united, that was the purpose of the Yoruba Ronu speech by Akintola! They are scared of Nigeria's disintegration, cos they will lose their object of unity ie Ndiigbo, they will also lose their Igbo hatred as Ndiigbo will no longer be part of same union with them and probably channel that hatred towards each other as in the days of old, they will likely fall apart and return to their pre Nigerian Kiriji wrestling match days. 55 Likes 4 Shares |

pazienza: **grins** Give yorubas their own country and watch them finish themselves with juju. The Ijebus will claim to be richer and superior. Oyo muslims will want to sell the rest of them to northern Arewa. Human parts trading will become a major GDP contributor in Oshogbo. The adebolojos and lawals among them will start blowing up Oshogbo and kwara simultaneously for their masters in the north. They even have an emirate to contend with.My guy they only become one when they face the Igbos. yorubas have tons of faultlines starting with Islam. It's why they will never support the division of this country. Too many isssues for them. How do they retrieve Emirate kwara to start with? **LOLS** 67 Likes 8 Shares |

saxywale: **grins** yorubas wey carry juju for head like facecap is talking about poisoning. People that killed and ate each other for 700years before the British came to save them from self-induced extinction. Envy in Igboland does not work. People still lay foundation and build habitable houses in Igboland. Can you mould a single cement block in Osogbo without one fetish alfa cursing you with ill-fate, tells much about your muddy cities. Lagos is FG-built. Ego oyel built Lagos.**LOLS** 61 Likes 3 Shares |

pazienza: ha ha disintegration of Nigeria. Goodluck with that, how can a group of people who cant sit down and speak with one voice profit from the disintegration of Nigeria. It's like comparing a family with a wealthy father with 3 chilidren. These 3 children cant agree about the color the house should be painted talkless of their father's legacy. What do you think will happen when the father dies and lives no will. You think there will be peace, each child will scheme to gain an upper hand. This is the same way , Biafra will look if they seceede - but we know secession is next to impossible in Africa it's against the rules . You need to start a war and probably loss a couple of million lives before anyone looks at you. Think Sudan. If we can look back to the source of this yoruba - ibo problem . The ibo people actually started it, the same way the place this country into a spiral of unending coup plots and military rule. The ibo people used to claim the north was there problem and that northerners are killing them or kill them whenever their is a riot . Today, its yoruba land. We hear very little of the north nowadays, I guess the south east has accepted the north actually does have an upper hand against them regardless of their low education levels. The yoruba people seem to understand that if they do not assert their historical and cultural ownership of Lagos state it will turn into another port-harcourt , where the owners of the land cant even speak out. Again, the east remains bias - they want to live in your land enjoying equal right but they are never willing to grant such benefits to outsiders in their lands. The results of the recent presidential election prooves this. The results from Lagos prooves that Lagos is the most mordern and tolerant city in Nigera - citing the victory of the ibo aspirants in elections held in Lagos. It's impossible for a yoruba man born and bred in Lagos - even married to an Igbo woman to achieve such a feat. One may claim that their victory is due to their numbers but we need to sit down and ask ourselves will the ibo people settle down in Lagos and feel so free as to compete in elections held in Lagos with hopes to win. Let's ignore the fact that they ran under the banner of the PDP (which is strongly correlated with their victory). Ibo land needs to accept that nobody in Nigeria is actually after them but thier guilt of a cessation attempt and Nzoegwu's evils haunt thier conscience whenever they interact politically with other Nigerians. We have forgotten this however, but as long as they support the individuals who continue to fight for this "pipe dream biafra" they will always feel inferior because that is what biafra symbolizes the inferiority of the ibo people in this great country called Nigeria. 31 Likes 4 Shares |
