This is integration class, if you miss the differentiation class, quickly refer to previous pages.
INTEGRATION.
Integration is the reverse process of differentiation. When we differentiate we start with an expression and proceed to find its derivative. When we integrate, we start with the derivative and then find the expression from which it has been derived.
E.g d/dx (x⁴) = 4x³.
Therefore, the integral of 4x³ with respect to x we know to be x⁴. This is written:

Generalizing:
[size=40]$[/size]xⁿ dx = [(xⁿ⁺¹)/(n+1)] + c.
This is true except when n = -1, for then we should be dividing by 0------(refer to note 5 below).
C is called the constant of integration and must be always be included.

Solution:

INTEGRATION OF POLYNOMIAL EXPRESSIONS.
In the previous class we differentiated a polynomial expression by dealing with the separate terms, one by one. It is not surprising, therefore, that we do much the same with the integration of polynomial expressions.
Polynomial expressions are integrated term by term with the individual constants of integration consolidated into one symbol c for the whole expression.

My cousin too didn't have Further Maths in his O'level and was also kicked out!

On clearance day...

Mehn, that was one hell of a day!

Nonetheless, Unilag's admission process is clear, beat the merit cut off and u're in.
If you hav a high JAMB score, say 250+, better 4 ya.. JAMB could realy give you an edge. Perhaps, more than their P.UTME.

But that supplementary list.. Hmmn, still a mystery how they select the names.

Actually, they stated that anyone applying for Engineering department must have further mathematics in his/her O'level.

If you don't know some basic computer operations, learn it as soon as possible. From statistics, competition in Unilag is even fiercer than UI's this year so be ardent and religious about your preparation. Greatest Akokites! ....in deed and truth. Miss you my dear friend. Save!

Thanks, but UI have more aspirants in MB;BS and course i'm aspiring for.

UNILAG have more aspirants in general because they offer more courses than UI.
