Bro if u cant get one, go ahead & apply without it. Host of folks have secured TRV without it. Awaiting medicals and I applied with out it. An introduction letter from ur company, work ID, payslips and convincing SOP can still help your case...goodluck Cherokee: |

Hi family, I got admitted last year for MSc program at UBC, my TVR was refused twice, with the reason of not having insufficient fund and i submitted my application with a bank statement( fixed deposit of ) N6.5m , my husband as my sponsor. the admission was deferred to this year fall. along the way , I got another admission letter from another university with full tuition scholarship, I intend to reapply by end of this month. my questions: 1) want to know if the 2 refusals will not affect this new one 2) the two were done online, should i still do the 3rd one online or opt for paper one? any effect 3) what is my stand if I apply with the scholarship, my spouse and employer as my sponsor. tanx all |

With gratitude to God first I want to let the House know I have been delayed again. I cant stop thanking God cos if it's in your hrt he will put it in your hands . Here are their reasons (same as the first) You have not satisfied me that you wld leave canada at the end of your stay *travel history *length of proposed stay *purpose of visit *personal assets and financial status *current employment situation And here are the docs I submitted: My Docs (Academic docs) OND notification of result, transcript,LOA,SOP,WAEC cert,IELTS result, SOP Financial Docs: personal SOA of 4.5M, fixed deposit(investment cert) of 1M, shares cert (mine) statement of account of anoda shares (mine),Notarised gift intervivio of land (mine) given to me by my dad as the first child according to family customs inclusive was land survey and site analysis plan of land. Employment Details: CV, Employment letter, Notarised study leave letter, promotion letter, work ID, notarised introduction letter from work, award certs from work. Sorry bout ur rejection ma, I admire ur guts tho... I don't really feel too comfortable with your sponsor's "political" job, can you use only his business. Also why not apply for a Bsc instead of a diploma? ... U shld use the Aussie application as plan B. Hopefully, u wld get a smile after your next application.. @lilspiceyy |

From recent posts of delays and acceptance, I think I can summarize what ii think is a number one factor a study permit visa application in canada. That is the choice of course or program. I believe when the purpose of visit is not concrete, the VO just tends to tick everyother thing alongside. Coss how will som1 wit such huge travel history still have travel history ticked? I'll ssay if you are abve 27 and you have years of experience n you're workng and want to do diploma why not try the express entry program. Its not as long and stressful as people think. That's what I think...and opinions are like ass holes everybody got one. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Bsc is a no go area for aa 28yr old. A PGD is a better option. SeyiMiilan: 1 Like |

Hello house, I av 4years experience in software development, and I intend to apply for graduate studies in system application development. But someone told me that my chance of getting visa will be slim because I am already an experience developer. Please I need ur advice |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by hayqinsbFX: 7:07pm On Apr 08, 2015 |
@ollbieties shoulld kindly take note of lilspiceyy situation as she changed course to a more related hospitality and wasn't lucky still. Illl advice a higher level of program whiich leaves PGD as the only option. |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by hayqinsbFX: 7:11pm On Apr 08, 2015 |
@lilspicey sorry for your delay. But your success story wouldn't look so interesting to hear if it went sso rosey.. Get strong and don't giive up. If you can get an admission for a PGD it should suffice.. I hav a strong feeling that with other docs intact we ll smile this time |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by akanni(m): 7:11pm On Apr 08, 2015 |
minnietope: Hmmm, all of you planning to go with your families, i hope you are very loaded? You must be able to prove you have more than enough funds for the whole family and of course convincing the VO that you will all come back is another matter. |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by berexio1: 7:14pm On Apr 08, 2015 |
lilspiceyy:Sorry abt the delay doh I like ur 'never say die' spirit. Keep peservering, it will pull through. A quick one:Purpose of visit; what course did u do in ur OND?How did u explain the educational gap? When did u finish ur OND and what have u been doing before u turned 28. Personal assets:When were u refused? What changed on ur first refusal?I guess personal asset was ticked. If u provided employment details and proof of financial assets,be sure it didn't contradict. So let's say u got employed in XYZ coy and under 6months u have 4.5m with an OND?Does this justify?Does it tally with ur income statement? Was the cash deposited in bulk? Your uncle had 4m, u could act as a co-sponsor with ur 4.5m or find a relative with a much more cash in d account or betterstill if ur uncle can boost his account abit. Lastly, if its possible to get sth higher than a diploma. It could be better! All the best! |

slimmy2000:I think you should still apply online, since the major reason stated as been addressed with the tuition scholarship.Just make sure the earlier funds you stated is still available, you should be good. |

Re: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by Nobody: 7:27pm On Apr 08, 2015 |
slimmy2000:It wont affect only if you had indicated some changes on your new application. Convince the VO on your home ties, asset, purpose of visit (purpose of visit i.e is your current course tally with previous? or with your work experience after graduation, i think your CV should solve that} some change field of studies based on their current occupation, so they feel like taking new path, its ok. You may choose any route, your profile is on their data base, it dose not make any changes or add more chances, its your choice. Moreover, your scholarship will only give u an edge on financial aspect. it dose not guarantee VISA. Best to do is a proper assignment and make proper changes on your new application, make no mistakes. If applied 10 times without amendment or proper changes from previous application, application may still be refused. So take time on your application, save money, effort time, and strength Good luck. 1 Like |
