The cat is going up....that can be noticed from the narrowness of d open end and it keeps widening! |

if u look properly, I think u will find that the cat is going down cos irrespective of the perspective the platform on which the cat is walking should be considered first for direction. x( |

Dat cat is definitely. Going down. If u take a close look at the surroundings u will notice that from the P.O.V u can c the cliff of each step. And no builder would build stairs with cliffs on top of the steps (unless he want pple to trip and rupture their spleen). So since the P.O.V enable us seeing those cliffs. I conclude that the person holding the camera is down the stairs and the cat is coming to meet him . There is nothing like perception here the answer is clearly defined. I can not categorically tell you Weda the cat is goin up nor down, but wat I can assure u is that the cat is going IN. |

The cat is going down........take a good look at d two forward legs, the right foot is on d step case while d left foot is about to go down for d other step case . |

DOWN... Look at the Cat's tail. The tail would not be in that position if going Up (Should be hidden from from view if it was going up) *** Try an experiment with your tailed pet! |

It depends on how you want to see it. If you see it as moving up, you're right... Moving down, you are also right |

It's a typical example of optical illusion, just like the ones below. But the cat is actually going down. In the first pic, the little yellow circle is the same size in both instance but due to optical illusion it seems larger in the second instance. Also in the second pic, the horizontal line are both of the same length in this instance, but seems lengthier in the first instance due to the converging vertical lines. it's all due to optical illusion.

[i][/i][color=#990000][/color] luk behind the cat I'll notice a flat floor, if the cat was coming down I'll either see the ceiling of the 1st floor or something else, and if you notice the designs made on the 2 side walls of the stairs I'll know the cat is going up!! |

The cat is coming down. Take a look at d tips of the steps, they don't look it that at the surface. |
