You neva see anything. They hv plan to raise another money this year "to further strenthen their balance sheet". This reconstruction is to make room for the new 50b or so shares to be created. Present shareholders should just consider their holdings wiped out.

Depends on what happens after reconstruction...if it is sold at 50k now and it is reconstructed to 5 naira and they buy when it drops to 3 naira...they get a better deal...even better if it drops to 50k again. That would be terrible though... if however, it rises it would have paid to buy now

Kai, abeg don't remind me of that bad experience again.
My investment lesson now is never to go near any stock that has plan to reconstruct. Even rumour of reconstruction will make me to pick race from any stock. For instance, since last year I heard rumour of reconstruction of Transcorp shares, I no get liver to go near it again.
The fear of reconstruction is the beginning of investment.

I used the proceeds from transcorp sale to enter fcmb yesterday at 3.01 .

All my transcorp was finally sold b4 close of trading yesterday. It was d 1/3 that was sold in the mornin that went to fcmb.
Still looking for good deals.

I did thesame yesterday, jumped out of Transcorp after making tashere profit with their not-so-cool result and I loaded more of FCMB my winning stock so far.

I'm already in the bus. I bought @2.32 and each time I plan to exit some manipulations come in at dying minutes and then the price goes up piaaaan . Just this morning, there were cheap offers but one guy just came in and placed bid@3.22 and mopped up. The thing dey surprise me and I dey enjoy am wella. Let the manipulation continue in our favour IJN.
