Can Igbos try this in the North?

Fearless because your host is peaceful.

No be the same Igbos that left the North in droves after 2011 election?

You are just a f.ool and an hopeless tribalist.. you think its only igbo's that suffered the causality of that attack.. a f.oolish bitch like you didnt come to osogbo and see how people were burying their relations after the 2011 riot... igbos, yoruba muslims and yoruba christian as well were all affected... only the igbos could mount resistance to the carnage..
look i am half yoruba and half igbo.... every tribe has some good things and bad things, but i doubt if you know the history of the biafran war... go and read about it, you think it is easy for a tribe to wage war against Nigeria that was backed by UK and the Soviet Union..... they lost the war but they had the boldness to take on Nigeria and advanced to ore in ondo state from the east within 3 months...
The fact remains an average igbo dude has mind.

Please can we stop all this, politicians are moving from other parties to the apc cos they won at the centre, the parties that people were abusing themselves for before march 28, what if agabje wins and he finally decamps to the apc to align himself to the so called centre, what will now be the gains of all the fighting, the same politicians screaming Jonathan before mar 28 are now screaming buhari, can't we see that these politicians keep playing chess with Nigerians? Let's be wise and move on from all these.

The Politicians are not foes as we think, its only a game.

Yoruba pipo that I know or see in the east are mostly the ones that banks n bottling companies put on transfer ... Its that simple
Buh me sabi two pipu wey build house for Enugu!

There is more to business than trading in shops that is the the fact that small chest beating minds fail to grasp.Anyway The logic of your thread is funny .Based on Ibos being dominant n Ladipo they are great businessmen. Did you visit the cattle market and see Ibos there what about the Onions and tomato market or the Foreign Exchange market. Are they the ones loading tankers at Apapa? Do they run the money market or the stock exchange. Traders sell what others make. They are much lower down the food chain. Ladipo sells second car parts whch come from butchered vehicle rejects from Europe sent home by hustling Niigerians. They also sell made to other fakes from India and China. This is not the kind of business to be chest beating about. It is not how many but how big. If you are lookin for businessmen look for the Dangotes and the Adenugas and Otedolas and Alakijas Look for people who MAKE things like Obagun of Onward press. Yes there are Ibo businessmen but they are not in Ladipo. There is a difference between a TRADER and a businessman

bro dont let hatred becloud you...the names you listed in your assertions above are new comers in business. they were nowhere in business 20 years ago...never undermine the Ladipo boys, you can have a trader in Ladipo with 20 other chain of stores in Lagos, His elder brother may be the one in Malaysia and singapore shipping down for him. do you have an idea, how much a forty fit container full of goods cost.

sit down and imagine if majority are like Igbos with small businesses that guaranty food, we wont have much corruption

lets cut them some credit, most hotels in Abuja, Lagos and Kano are owned by Igbos...they worked hard to build it...learn business from them...i am learning than hating.

Mind to do what?? Bros, I doubt if you know the history of the Biafan war as you claim. The most strategic error they committed was the march to Ore! It cost them the war!

If they had stayed put defending the South-East, they would have worn more support. What did they expect the people of Ore in Ondo State to do?? Sit down idly twiddling their thumbs?? shocked shocked

Story how many shops does Bill Gates own? Is it by shops? We are talking of people who see the whole picture, who set the agenda and determine policy you are talking about shops. Trading legitimately on the stock exchange/currency market all you need is your smartphone . Business is not about containers and shops. Abeg make we hear word.

This is the business we know them for

Aside the excessive audacity which breeds arrogance and pride with Igbos, This is the part i like about Igbos...Everything is business...let truth be told. Igbos are way ahead in business in Nigeria. I entered Ladipo market one day and couldnt find one shop owned by a Yoruba man in the two hours i spent there. I think business is genetic for them. can you remember the ''my oga at the top stuff'' while some of us typed on the internet, Aba boys were thinking business. Mbaka spoke against GEJ, few days after, (Mbaka but why T. shirt was all over the market). They seem not interested in white collar jobs like every other tribe. If we have more entrepreneurs, the faster we come out of the corruption in public and civil service. when i finished NYSC, i was retained in the bank with one Emeka boy..I remeber during the interview, one of the panelists said, Emeka, you are supposed to be in Aba or Alaba, what are you doing here? the Igbo jokingly said, its capital am looking for..six years after, the Igbo boy resigned, we never knew he was combining banking with real estate business..on saturdays he was a house searching agent. he told me he sold two houses in Ikoyi and resigned...Till i left the bank, his salary account was in millions...doing so well in business, the latest he told me last year was that, one of the panelists in that our interview is now his account officer...I just love the business part of them and maybe the way they adore their wives and children. They take family very seriously. Emeka is so wealthy and lavishes his wealth on his wife and 3 boys. Needless to say he inspired me into business and i am doing well too, but not anywhere near Emeka.

Throw them into the Lagoon and see the potentials of that water developed by them.

Bros, leave dat side. There are several governors that never served in government but did well in their respective states, when they were at the helm of affairs after they won the elections.

There are others that served as government lackeys all the days of their lives and still performed woefully at state level, after they were sworn in as governors.

Abeg, leave matter for Maathias, jare. Like MKO Abiola of blessed memory said when he was ridiculed for being a business man vying for an elective position, " ... Government business is serious business..!!" sad

My personal letter to the Oba of Lagos. Dear Oba i can assure you that the igbos are ready for their self defence and survival at any time. I can also assure you that no igbo man will ever get drowned in the lagoon because another igbo man will be selling life jackets there. And ofcourse if its too costly ,i trust my ijaw brothers to be on standby with free rescue things. Infact i trust our prayers that we are ready to do moses things, and the lagoon will dry like desert after Jimi is declared winner. Lastly, we hereby adopt Mr Jimi Agbaje and as a result he is now JIMINWA AGBAJEZE

Provocation is when you incite violence against people and show no remorse.

Provoction is when you yorubas expect us to automtically forgive ur bastard oba when he hasn't even bothered to reach out to pple he offended.

This case is far from over. May God help him if an Igboman dies as a result of electoral violence.

When prophecy came that their might be violence after the election, some people worked so hard to see it come from the President so as kill the man a nd hang it on his neck that he disintegrated Nigeria, but God gave him Wisdom, i heard Amaechi say live on Channels today that had Wike delivered 2.9million votes that they would have been in trouble, as such his gimmick was to cause trouble where there is none so that INEC will cancel Rivers Election, but he was beaten to his game. No body has said anything about PDP losing in States where they have Governors, VP, Senate President, is it a gang up?, so if Amaechi is planing to cause problem in Rivers for INEC to cancell the election and re conduct it after May 29, i support and will join the resistance in any way i can, and that might as well start the disintegration of this great Country.Nigeria will not continue to be run by a select few, who determines who is corrupt and who is not.For Nigeria to move forward we must collective say no to godfatherism. So the Obas ranting in Lagos and Amaechis ranting in Rivers will not hold water.Nigeria is for all of us.ANd we should be allowed to vote for our choice.
