Actually,that's the all-inclusive charge (CSCS, NSE, Trade alert, stamp duty). Morgan's portion is just 0.25%,buying and 0.25% selling making a combined commission of 0.50%. Y'all can confirm from your contract notes.

You didn't make a mistake my brother. You have made some money even if the market had more to offer. One way to be sure you are really making money in this business is to grow your volumes. There is really no point watching your shares dance around without you gaining from it. Good you sold and then you can re-enter at a lower price with more volumes from the proceeds.

FBNH will keep steadily appreciating till the ex-date. You can decide to pull out just before and re-enter again when convenient. This is a sure way to bank your profits.

You can take this to the bank: Oando sell off will continue till it reaches N13+ also Transcorp Sell off will continue till it reaches N2.80+. The major arm of Heirs holdings bringing in the revenue is the Hotel business which is now a seperate entity. BTW, Oando re-entry @ anything close to N14 won't be a bad option

I pity those guys taking myjoy08 advice hook, line and sinker. I doubt if this guy invest @ all on NSE. All he does is to recommend BUY, BUY, BUYYYYYYYYYYY which is a no brainer to me

The day you hinted of the Bears coming back when the Bull was raging, I was about placing order for this TRANSCORP but seeing your posts, I thought it was logical and held on. Next trading day, all the bears entered market. You really showed you had experience in this market. Thanks!
In one of my posts back, I mentioned that I bought some stocks and made over 20% profit based on MYJOY advice (and even CHIBUIK). So its really a nice expereince from everyone.

I will continue to look out for your posts. I will however recommend that you don't (Should I say attack) others based on their comments or advice. No one knows it all. The fact that MYJOY recommendation, as at the time it was made, didn't lead to profit now does not take away the fact that he has been helpful.

You all are my mentors in this NSEMPA - Hope I will make money enough also this year from the stock market..

I saw this in our sister forum, maybe its the reason for fbn and fcmb reversal.
Pension (institutional investors) are now allowed to buy holding companies.

'The PENCOM rules have just been adjusted to make it legal for them to invest in Holding companies(for the PFA's) which they could not do before thus the price differential between GTB/ZENITH and FBNH.'

I have just checked again. Meristem charges 1.35% for buying and 1.35% for selling. The cumulative charges (after adding other fees) are 1.785% for buying and 2.085% for selling. Maybe you thought my post was referring to Morgan capital.

Use the number/volume of daily trades.
