agaugust:The SANDF is deployed by its political masters, the withdrawal of troops from CAR was was agreeing to the regional block's request and the fact that bi-national agreement between SA and CAR expired the moment Bozize's government fell. Liberia and Sierra Leone? Who was thee strong enemy there? An enemy that a single SANDF battalion can deal with. |

agaugust:No, Nigeria withdrew her troops. The war in Sudan is not over. What muscle? 15 000 troops to deal with an enemy poorly equipped and hungry? Which SA mercinaries defeated under a short time. |

jl115:German source is a nonsense crappy crap. I thought someone has already picked holes in that. But here's what: Anthony Day was fired upon by a naval warship. He tried to radio the warship but no luck. So he got the radio of the coast guard or something who then radioed the commander of the warship. The commander admitted the error and said it was done in error Now question is which naval commander did the radio folks communicated with? All possibilities point to the SAN because they would be the first choice of contact naturally. Secondly given how south Africa love Hollywood-ing their SANDF, they would have rushed and print the news of how the German navy goofed and how they themselves are expert. That's why your own very forums in South Africa are never in doubt who the incompetent navy is. But a nigerian-conscious e-sandf like you folks will always bring in controversies. 1 Like |

lezz: Hahahahaha your imagination is beyond compare!! Firstly SAN never blamed or pointed fingers at the Germans!Show me a source were the SAN made a statement clarifying it was the German Navy "Now question is which naval commander did the radio folks communicated with? All possibilities point to the SAN because they would be the first choice of contact naturally" Uhm.........No! The SAN had no ships in the area,as pointed out by both sources, thus the German navy would be the first choice to contact! "German source is a nonsense crappy crap" Not to long ago the Germans could do nothing wrong in your eyes! |

Patchesagain: I was saying that your own source demölished your argument completely! Read, I quote your above source. : "a theoretical ability to regain its former status as a nuclear-weapons state. " It clearly says South Africa has THEORETICAL ability to make nuclear weapons....theory NOT practical ! Theory is written on paper, makes you a mere PAPER TIGER that can only make nuclear weapons on paper ;P;P;P . |

jl115:Who ever said the SAN accused the German navy? If it were the German navy, the south African press would have cleared the air. It is still accepted in south Africa that it was the SAN. 2 Likes 1 Share |

MikeCZAR: Gives the F-7 pilot advantage to attack from outside Gripen radar angular coverage, by flying 2 km higher than Gripen with superior max altitude advantage of F-7 over the Gripen, then from inside Gripen's radar blind spot F-7 fires 35 km range BVR missiles and demölishes ALL South African Gripen jets then Mandela's investment is wasted in minutes ! . |
