Mr. Akpabio... Inmate no. 002 (checked). U wan introduce d person wey go waste more of state money. That state recieves more federal allocation than Lagos, yet stands out for nothing important. |

jieta:Maybe you should compare what Akpabio collects from FAAC with what other governors collect. For instance, Akwa Ibom receives about 10 times what Osun state receives. Akwa Ibom receives more than all the SE states put together. |

autotrader014:Every APC aspirant is a saint and must be voted for for the good of the state irrespective of their corrupt background, that's the APC way! You stay in Lagos or even USA and support someone you've never even seen on TV because he's APC. Brainwashed bandwagoners. |

Bevista:A government that will work will work, irrespective of federal allocations; the number of projects may only be smaller. Give Akwa-Ibom's allocation to Abia State (under T. A Orji) and nothing would change. |

Re: Akpabio On Buhari's Visit (pic) by Eruditor: 2:01pm On Apr 10, 2015 |
slap1: How much IGR Lagos generates is immaterial because Akwa-ibom could as well do that. That is what should even be celebrated as good governance and not a situation where a state receives N136B in 6 months and yet their achievements cannot be compared with another state that receives N55B and has 10 times the population of the other state. |
Re: Akpabio On Buhari's Visit (pic) by Nobody: 2:02pm On Apr 10, 2015 |
What is wrong with my Akpabio introducing Udom Emmanuel to GMB? Amebo go kill una! Akpabio is still the best performing governor in Naija, quote me anywhere! Amaechi started the PH stadium project b4 Akpabio started that of the Ibom Int'l Stadium, but where is the PH stadium now? Education, health, transportation and other infrastructural development in Akwa Ibom State is *kisses*. Akwa Ibom receives the highest revenue because it generates the highest National revenue to the Federal Govt, it goes in that order in all the states based on what they generate to the Federal Govt. It is only conventional for a few of the pple in Akwa Ibom to be poor, after all there are poor pple even in the US and in the UK. Pls let's give honour to whom it is due instead of giving silly comments. Akpabio, Fashola and Rochas have all done well. But I heard Rochas used inferior materials to make roads, I don' know how true it is. Mind you, I grew up in PH but currently schooling in Lagos. #Proudly Akwa Ibomite# 1 Like |

Eruditor:So with the number of companies and commercial activities in Lagos State, Akwa-Ibom should generate more revenues than it abi? How many of those companies did Fashola build, since it's a sign of good governance? |

Re: Akpabio On Buhari's Visit (pic) by Eruditor: 2:07pm On Apr 10, 2015 |
Felixsun20: Best performing governor in Nigeria? Built a stadium faster than Amaechi, because Akwa-ibom has the same population with Rivers? Is it only Federal allocations Akwa-ibom receives? Don't they have internally generated revenues? Should Akwa-Ibom not be rivalling Lagos? |

slap1: Lagos started from somewhere. I want to know how far and fast Akwa-Ibom has gone and I like to see how much better they should be doing considering they have Tourism and concessional royalties (FROM OIL COMPANIES) incorporated in their IGR structure together with a sparsely populated region. |

Code213: It hurts me to see how unintelligent or hypocritical some of us can be... Now, from your post, kindly add IGR of those states alongside internal cum external debts and tell me where the thieves are... Try and compare these funds with what is on ground in those states...thanks... |
Re: Akpabio On Buhari's Visit (pic) by Eruditor: 2:12pm On Apr 10, 2015 |
slap1: Tinubu and Fashola created a framework and working environment for the companies to see reason for establishing their companies in Lagos. It is the same measure I expect from Akpabio. |
