In as much as Jimi is my preferred candidate, i can't possibly ignore the fact that he divided us along ethnic lines..Lagos state which pride itself as a home for all, is now battling for Supremacy between the Yoruba's and the igbos. that is really pathetic...Jimi destroyed our Lagos, My lagos, your lagos.. History will never forget him..

Sorry Sir, its called political Structure/Strategy.

What ethnic lines? I don't have any favorites in Lag, though it was APC for me at Fed level. He only exploited the obas error, that is politics. Mind you, many of the votes he is expecting MAY NOT come. Ibos are smart

Fashola is never an ethnic bigot neither is he a religious bigot, Igbos were repatriated not deported, Peter Obi used that to play Politics, Ladipo market was closed For Sanitation, Joe igbokwe is APC publicity secretary in Lagos, Prof Ben Akabueze is Lagos state commissioner for budget and Economic planning for the past 12years, what else do u want Governor? or deputy?
Lasgidi ought to be no-man's land, anybody can win there, specially when there are different ethnic group in lagos.

JK is loved by all and if he is enjoying igbo support highten by the lagoon threat that is his luck.

Yoruba people are very tribalist naturally,at nysc in katsina state, while in the mixed of 2 or 3 yoruba corpers, and discussing,it would be long before they start speaking yoruba language.atimes they even speak yoruba to a non-yoruba.

The great awolowo once told the zik of africa to go to the east and contest for a seat rather than contestig from lagos.here is zik who fought colonalism and taking nigeria as 1 while awolowo was bias.

If not now 1 day igbo or any other tribe will win lagos.

Its 11th day of April year 2015, its going to be historical in Yoruba history and we will all know if we learnt at all from Afonja and Alimi scenario in Ilorin or we didn't learn at all. Now that the new Afonja by the name Jimi Agbaje is selling us to Igbo people just to get a mandate he will never get lagbara awon to nile, to te ile Yoruba do, we must all rise and say NO to such act, so if you are in lagos, ogun , or oyo? Kindly dust your pvc now and let's bury this capitalist calling themselves pdp, throws them into lagoon as our oba has instructed and never may we see them in Yoruba land again. Ile yi agbe wa taya tomo, tebi tara ooo.

We want to take Lagos to greater heights and the only way to permit this is by using that thumb print to vote in Akinwunmi Ambode for Governor.

Different strokes for different folks, hope you know that?

I hate the fact that Lagos state hides behind that saying "16 years of opposition". Have they been using the personal funds to develop Lagos?

There is more to say, I'm only saying 16years is enough for them to experiment. Let others try.

Did you say no mineral resource in Lagos?

Brugo:

16 years of being the opposition. 16 years of Federal government neglect. Yet Lagos is more developed than Delta, Bayelsa (a tiny state earning more than Lagos) and Rivers.

Recently I realised that there's been no new Federal road in Lagos since the 3rd mainland bridge- not even one!

Agbaje cannot perform half as much as even Tinubu did without the backing of the federal government. Abu Dhabi is enjoying oil returns. Lagos is solely commerce. No mineral resources. Your comparison is flawed.

I beg to differ... Neither Zik nor Awolowo fought for Nigeria's independence... Plus do not forget that Nigeria was to be run based on Regions...

JK is beyond not OK. He is grossly incompetent to lead this state to the greater heights it is destined for. APC have more than proven their dedication towards choosing qualified candidates for Governor and Ambode so far has proven to be the most qualified and likewise experienced candidate in the history of any Nigerian Governorship election.

So vote Ambode today for Governor.

"Taraba is equally divided between Muslim and Christian, and also faces ethnic and religious problems."

Not that I am neat-picking over semantics, but why use words like "divided between so and so? What happened to "cohabited by so and so" or other related and positive expressions?

The idea of depicting election as a war between tribes and religious group is what I don't understand. Is that what the election is about?
