. Imagine loads of b*llshit.. I am not one to insult or disrespect another, but calling me, my brothers and my family refugees? These are bunch of f**ls. All they have succeeded in doing is spilling rubbish. Instead of condeming how their leader issued a needless threat to the Ibos or saying it was misinterpreted, all they have done is elevating their level of Racism. Mtchew. Point of correction. We Ibos are adventurers. It is not only in Yoruba land that we reside, We are all over the world. Yorubas reside in our lands too though it might not be with same density as we do in Yours but we for once haven't called anyone refugees. With due respect. Watch Your mouth!!! |

omokab:Shut the hell Up! You must be a slowpoke for saying the Yorubas accomodate the igbos, how if I. May ask? How? Aren't they Nigerians? Aren't they are liberty to move to any part of the country on legal grounds as supported by the constitution of Nigeria? Are the Yorubas feeding and paying their bills while they reside in Lagos? NOBODY has the right to claim ownership of any part of this country or has the power to restrict the movement of NIGERIANS to any part of this country. Why all this NOISE about the Yorubas owning Lagos and regarding non-Yorubas as "Immigraants"......You all should go and take a dive into the Lagoon! SHIT!!! I am a Nigerian, proudly Igbo, I have property in Lagos...and my family lives here! No idiot has any right to intimidate or threaten my stay except you clowns are calling for Tribal War! And lemme make this categorically clear that we igbos, are not afraid of WAR! Why the hate, the bitterness, the envy, the jealousy against us? Why? That was how Fashola bundled some igbos and 'deported' dem claiming that they were criminals. What happened to the police and the court? The outburst of tha hate speech by the dishonourable Oba was just a saturated build up of bitterness over the years. You guys are just jealous and pained that we are industrous and you guys are feeling insecured @the pace @which the igbos are prospering in Lagos, hence the hatred....BUT that is not their fault! You can't take that away from them, GOD made them that way.... The Yorubas should be careful on how they are taking this matter, they should remember that for over 60years, both tribes have never had any cause for misunderstanding, as they have been living in peace over the years. The Oba should cautioned and warned on how he conducts himself publicly, this is democracy, everyone has the right to vote for whoever he wants to vote for. God bless Ndi-Yoruba God bless Ndi-Hausa God bless Ndi-Igbo WA-ZO-BIA...........that bound is too strong to be broken by a hate speech coming from one Oba of Lagos! 1 Like |

EggovinMma:I dnt think what you have posited is the meat of the article. The article just tried to address the gross disrespect few igbo leaders have shown the Oba of Lagos after his unfortunate statement. This whole brouhaha is like a case of a drunkard who is owing so much at a bar close to his house. The man's children have promised to pay at the end of the month but for days on end after the bar owner has agreed to be paid by months end, the bar owner kept embarrassing and harrasing their father. This will get to a point where the man's children will get angry and decide and tell the bar owner to do her worse. This is what is happening now! Yes; the comment was unfortunate but like u said, is the oba going to be breathing down your neck in the polling booth? Going on and on about this by the igbo community and makin the whole thing complex with every passing does no one any good. I remembr some yoruba fella said that it is only a bastard that will vote for PDP; were there yoruba who still voted PDP and will still vote today? Of course there are/will! The president wife took a swipe at the North as "born throway" people...was there this much noise generated? No, but their PVC made the Noise! If the igbo community feel "they are owed so much by that drunkard, instead of embarrasing the drunkard, isnt it better they wait for the end of the month?". Today is the end of the month. In my opinion, whoevr wins between Agbaje n Ambode, the damage has been done olredy n fence mending should begin in earnest immediately to save what is remaining! 1 Like 2 Shares |

The crude oil gotten from the lands and waters of ND including some parts of Igboland are known as 'national cake' not igbo or ND cake....A comsopolitan city like Lagos shouldn't have any qualms referred to as No man's land or a Former Federal capital never yoruba land,if the yorubas want their land back then it is best they agitate an Odua Republic and cut themselves off our 'national cake' or best spark an ethnic fight and get crushed.... 3 Likes |
