EroticAngelina: Madam Erotic I wish all the flat heads that liked and share your post could read this. CHM11: And if you still have problem with Yoruba people and lagos, read this from the article We remind those Igbo who love to cause noise and tension in Lagos that you chose to come on your own, and that the Oba and people of Lagos did not invite you to come. The roads by which you came are still open. You are free to return home. We Yoruba are not causing disruption in your homeland; you have no right to continue to cause disruption in our homeland. 3 Likes |

Demburrows:You made very notable observation.the southwest is graduatually being islamised.just like lagos politcs is being controled by yoruba muslims.if not for other tribes hugely present they would have been completely run over.people talk about igbo people and migration but they don't notice the increasing population of nothern and niger republic migrants for sometime now.they control okada bussiness in abuja now.occupying and building mosques everywhere with speed.most of them haven't settled down enough to breed that's the relief for now cause when they do knowing how they breed then I really fear for the future 1 Like |

LordExecutioner: copying is part of business ,Government policies sharpen ideas and business .They have not been able to create a Global company with all the noise they make, even though their business model of training and then given freedom to the person trained works fine ,their attitude of dominance will affect government policies in Lagos for many years. We can depopulate does people in Lagos easily with just an injection |

If not that Lagos was once the capital of Nigeria, It would have been a local minor state like every other state in this country!!! for starters, why on earth should that useless oba threaten igbos in Lagos?? [/quote] Yorubas don't discriminate against igbos. It is also good that you know that Lagos has always been a commercial hub before the whites came, making it a capital city only gave it undue attention which indigenes from other state still give it. Please, I'm not being critical of your comment, the Oba's statement wasn't the right but i think calling an elder 'useless' speaks volume of your respect trait. #I rep Yorubas, no discrimination, not judgemental 1 Like |

I like this kind of thread because it unravels the true nature of people. Igbo doesn't like Yoruba because they feel that the Igbo genocide that happened during civil war was as a result of Obafemi Awolowo's policy and statement[how can we feed our enemies?] and also because they have "double" tongues. They will say one thing now and say another later. Yorubas hate Igbo because they feel intimidated by Igbo's success and they are scared that the Igbo might later secede and leave them helpless. 2 Likes |

I don't blame anybody but especially those "wise" Igbos who come out in public to engage in all this vain arguments. It makes no sense trying to attack people whose place you are living in. Choice of voting is a personal thing and does not at all deserve all this cursing and all that, if not that we usually lack in how conduct ourselves. The wise will ignore the Oba's threat, etc and go vote for whoever they like, and that's it. I still do wonder how Nigerians who still live together come out on a public forum like this to exhibit so much hatred again one another, simply because it is a faceless forum. We all know we have our issues, but somehow we still have been able to carry on somehow. People should learn to let sleeping dogs lie! Many Nigerians especially those on this forum are shameless people! 2 Likes |

This is a clear case of envy and hatred. Was it Igbos that started this problem? Have any so called yoruba intellectual come out to condemn the oba's threat to Igbos? It's obvious that yorubas are envious of the Igbos wealth in Lagos perhaps they can't imagine how the Igbos could come this far after that brutal and hateful war. Igbos lost everything after the war but they are doing very well in Lagos and other places they found themselves in Nigeria and are not more arrogant than other tribes. Yorubas would have also be envious of another tribe if that tribe tends to be doing more better than the yorubas in Lagos so they should stop this crap that other tribes are peaceful than the Igbos. Is it the Igbos that are throwing bombs in Nigeria? Is it the Igbos that are kidnapping school children in Nigeria? Is it the Igbos that threatened to bath people with blood if they don't win the presidential election? Why the double standard by this yoruba people? Hausa-Fulani killed yoruba leaders, denied them their mandate yet hausa-fulani are more peaceful than the Igbos? I have always known yorubas to be envious, Back stabbing, betraying and loud mouth in nature. Imagine them calling the great Igbos immigrants in their own country 4 Likes |

omokab:hehehe, overheating blood. if an igbo man tries too sell his birthright or his father's throne to u will u refuse? everybody loves power and money and besides it was a yoruba man that has promised the igbos' watever has been promised or maybe cos he feels igbos' re very hardworking and fearless that's why he thinks the igbos' will be good at the job or maybe other political reasons. Nigeria is in war already and we do not need more than we re already battling with. we should concentrate on conducting free and fare election and not to threaten fire and brimstone. chill my brother nobody carry world come and nobody go carry world go. 1 Like |

LordExecutioner: Please let us stick to the point. The issue issue is not about his business, or the babies he he makes. It is all about an overbearing traditional ruler who in addition to his traditional subjects thinks he can own other settlers who know nothing about his tradition. Should he also own them to the extent of threatening death if they fail to yield their franchise to his political choice Ambode, be he good or bad? That is the issue, lets face rather than dance around it. Thank you. 2 Likes |
