How can someone be an immigrant in his own country? I guess ethnicity is getting over you yorubas. If u r well read, u won't talk like a fool. u talk of war and I laugh u_if war start can u fight? your useless oba said nonsense against my people and u want us to keep calm like nothing happened eeh? Our Ezes can talk like that ur Oba. u compare igbo with ur tribe.... yoruba that r not straight forward, cowards and u dare talk of war. tell ur Oba to bring it ON. 2 Likes |

hazyfm:What is there in their land to develop? Desert land and inanimate forests? Have you seen two criminals Kinging in the same compound? One will have to relocate for his trade to grow. One thing for sure, the Yorubas or Hausas are not appointed into political or public offices the igbo land. If they do, then they are less than 0.001% compared to the Southwest where we allow them to contest, get appointments into public offices, etc without a care. We are liberal. They are opportunists. That explains the reasoning behind creating BIAFRA and the Niger-Delta's agitation for secession. Our monarchs are to be respected, even though that idea is foreign to the igbo nation because they started with an egalitarian govt in the ore-colonial era. |

CHM11: I repeat i will never support any igbo contesting for any political office in Lagos or outside igboland because of the reality of tribalism that bedevils our country. But i wish to disagree with you when you say the utterances of the igbos The no man's land statement was made by Ex governor Orji uzor Kalu in response to the BRF deportation saga so it was a response to an attack. Again the colonial statement was just made this week in response of the Oba's attack. Unless you justify telling every non-indigene in Lagos to become an unlooker in the face of such attacks which could breed more attacks if not for the response of the people concerned, then i would humbly disagree with some of the points you have raised. 2 Likes |

hensben: You are a proper definition of stupidity for telling Igbos to work hard to develop their states. After your Yoruba brothers colluded with the abokis to commit their heinous crime of destroying igbo land during the war, igbo society has developed and stood upright to today's standard. Go on and check statistics of development to compare Yorubaland to Igboland let's see which is lagging behind in development. Lagos is Metropolitan city developed and industrialised through the collective hard work, business, tax of Igbos and other ethnic group living there. You are also jealous and feel threatened by the presence of Igbos because you can't stand their hard work, strength and courage in any part of the world they are. 3 Likes |

It took me alot time to go through everybody comment here. My take on this is that we are quick to forget NOBODY I MEAN NOBODY EVER MENTION GOD IN THIS MATTER what shame on us majority of people making comment are christians Anyway let me start by sayin that bible made us to understand that at end time brothers will rise up against one another so pls becareful im not talking to dos who dnt bliv in God mark 4:11 its given unto u to kw d mystery of d kingdom of God but to dem dat are without all ds things are done in parables Please my fellow ibo brodas i want u to give and forget bible says be quick to hear but slow to react I'm yoruba so i will also beg my yoruba brodas to embrace peace wit ur fellow ibo brodas Dnt allow this our so call leaders to divide us because of dere selfish game dey cal politics bible says pray for d peace of jerusalem n you shal eat the good of land.. I beg my ibo brodas to stop sayin lagos is no man's land i dont know where dey got the history from pls respect d host indigenes even if dey contribute 1% of lagos community give wat belong to ceasar unto dem so dat we all hav peaceful co existentas we all kick against the oba's speech onces he has apologize accept it n move on ask ifeanyi ubah to also caution himsef to avoid so uttrances i kw he cannot allow a yoruba man to br making such comment in his home town I'm from ondo state i think we sud hav as many ibos as dat of lagos we respect ourselves If federal govt. are concern abt indigenization i think dey sud remove it from our constitution They sud not allow our leader to divide us along religion, ethnic and socio background Pls let us focus on d new govt. to assist dem move ds country forward i bliv it is not over until we win conclysively, Lagos is some people land, cos i cant tel a gwari man in abuja dat FCT is no man's land or in kano or in kaduna or in calabar or river. Our ibo brodas i think its time for u people to also rule Nigeria and u need either the North or Southwest to support you.You can fight the two region and claim relevance u need to either support one o d two to get dere before the middlebelt take ur place. Pls im sorry if i sound too political cos we giv relevance to politics rather than religion people bliv too much on media and dere politicians to there pastors n reverends God bless you all. pastor smiling 2 Likes |

masseratti:People are different, bro. Some Igbos, like myself, were born here in Lagos; others were brought here. So u can't expect all of us to have the same mentality. I, too, used to believe Yoruba girls don't go outside their tribe until I met my girl, who's now my fiancee |

olas24u: Ola, creating a substandard copy of a brand name is criminal and illegal. Same with piracy. That is the Igbo business model and it can never growing beyond what it is. And they don't pay taxes, that is why I want more chaos in Lagos in abaje becos their business model can only exist in a chaotic environment. New York alone destroys billions of dollars worth of substandard products and pirated goods on canal street annually. Ever wondered why outside Nigeria, in civilized countries, most of the Nigerian owned businesses are always owned by Yorubas, followed by Edos, despite the high number of ibos there too? They know they don't have what it takes out there and their illegal activities will send them to jailed. I lived in US for ten solid years and in ibo enclaves like Houston, most of the businesses there are Yoruba owned. The same in Chicago, Maryland, and New York. Bring sanity to Lagos Abeg to shut these goats up jare. Their noise is deafening now. 1 Like |

If the Oba was civil in his use of language, all these tribal tirades won't be here. If the Yorubas also have an appreciable population in any Ibo state there is no way they won't also be considered for political positions there. Late stop all these hate posts. 2 Likes |
