I think the only thing keeping nigeria together is the hatred all the tribes in nigeria have towards we igbos.... One mistake people tend to make towards we igbos, is believing they can intimidate us in anyway whatsoever. The more you try, the stronger we become.... No igbo man is claiming Lagos as his state of origin rather we see Lagos as a place where anyone can come, work hard and succeed. And if some people have issues with that then ![]() Lagos was not developed by the Yorubas alone or its governments. It is a known facts that igbos invested more in Lagos than any other tribe including yorubas. Why do people hating the igbos so? Is it our fault that we succeeded were you tried and failed?? Why is our self confidence a source of worry for other tribes? To my brothers when are we going to learn? How long do we keep leaving in denial? When will it down on us that we are not loved in this country and will never be no matter what We do? When will it occur to us that no matter how much we invest in other regions and contribute to their development we will never be one with them? And they will never love us as we loved them? WHEN DO WE REALISE THAT ONE NIGERIA IS JUST AN ILLUSION? WHEN ARE WE GOING TO INVEST AT LEAST 50% OF OUR WEALTH IN IGBO LAND? Having three or more companies or houses in Lagos and having just one or none in SE Is not really helping us. We need to start investing more in our region and the sooner we forget this one nigeria nonsense the better for us as a nation. 5 Likes 1 Share |

Alexchuka: You are a good ibo man raised in yoruba land. That is why you are different. The other beasts from the east are hate mongers. They taunt Yorubas all the time. They call us dirty, cowards, etc. And they keep calling Lagos a no man's land. 1 Like |

kettykin: When that statement was made by Chief Obafemi Awolowo in Ibadan, Oyo State, was he talking to an Ibo audience? How many Ibos were at that meeting when he are that statement? How can a leader addressing his own people, in their own house affect or dictate how another people in a different land must take their decision? Mister, you and your ibo ilk have been peddling these lies for almost 50 years, are you people shameless? Was your leader who took his own people to war to get 3 M killed based on a conversation that was done in Yorubaland not make you see your leader as stupi.d, clueless, lacking in deep thinker and not worthy to lead even ants to a battle to attack sugar successfully? So, the ibo war failed by the effort of Nigerian troops with all other Nigerians and their support, why can't you just get over it already? Everyone lost something but the difference is no other side or people had a leader so lacking in foresight, be lost 3M+ humans, destroyed the entire land, land size reduced to less than the size of many individual states and 49+ years later, not a dog or sugar ant will let you lead them to a common battle to attack a bowl of sugar. You are not the only ones in Lagos, which is Yorubaland, why are the other 200+ tribes still developing their states and lands while living all over Nigeria without the noise making and chest beating of the ibo?? Losing the war does not make you owners of the another man's corner and this greed was the reason you were whooped the first time! Let ibos go and develop their lands and stop trying to steal the resources and lands of another people. This is exactly why the SS chased you off their lands in PH and will all Nigerians hold the ibo in perpetual suspicion! 1 Like |

Bamz:thanks for attempting to tell me who I am but I know who I am . I carry a nigerian passport and fly the nigerian flag and if I am outside this country to achieve any great thing,my achievement is first of all a nigerian achievement. You will be shocked to know even some lagosians don't like to marry ijebus and so many other disparities within the Yoruba community. I'm a Yoruba boy but I will always put national interest first before ethnic interests. I think as a Nigerian and not carried away by cultural bias. 1 Like |
