Based on results announced from 55% of polling units across Lagos State, Akinwunmi Ambode of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is leading Jimi Agbaje of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) by more than 80,000 votes. Figures obtained as at 9.30 p.m. (Nigerian time) revealed that Mr. Ambode had received 325,026 votes as opposed to 240, 467 votes for Mr. Agbaje.

NEWS FLASH
An authentic information reaching me
now has it that alot of POLITRICKING in
ongoing especially in some LGAs in Orlu
where PDP won. In Oguta for instance,
the margin has been forcefully reduced
by Mr. Governor who visited the
Collation center with some security
details. Also, the gap with which he was
winning PDP in one of the LGAs in
Ideato has been skyrocketed by tens of
thousand. The field result of Mbaitolu
where the Deputy Governor lost even in
his booth and what is on paper now are
Worlds apart. The type of impunity
going on in Okigwe zone now is
something else.
Also, Mr. Governor as we speak has
doled out N30million for INEC staff and
is about to hold a press conference to
discredit the areas where he did not win
and to arouse sympathy for himself.
Meanwhile PDP is not sleeping as we
speak.
