Even if the election is canceled and conducted again and again PDP will always triumph in Akwa Ibom State. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Peaceful southerners should not adopt the violent lifestyle of majority of APC adherents n start formenting trouble in their states o! Learn to accept defeat, accept the reality for what it is, hold your elected government accountable n aim for higher n better representation n performance. Any destructive activities still reflect poorly on you! If u feel there were irregularities then patiently channel it through the right source! Where PDP doesn't win, they don't make much noise cos they know their strongholds... Akwa Ibom and indeed d entire SS is still very PDP based so why d noise? Is it because APC is now d party at FG level? That's why it's a democracy and a multi-party system too... It shouldn't be winner takes it all. APC has just gotten power at FG level, they should work hard n convince the electorate on why they're d better option at State level...not by violence n force! 4 Likes 1 Share |

Its crystally cleared that the two strong parties have divided the country. APC is holding forth for the North while PDP is controlling SS and SE. I pity SW for conceding their birthright to the Northern. Very soon SW will be like football in between two teams tossing here and there. I so much adore courageous attitude of SS and SE for holding on to PDP. You can only fight for your right collectively. Am watching as episodes on fold for the next four years. Unity Nigeria I crave. 1 Like |

I am not a politician... Why is it that each time PDP loses, no one sees any violence; no one goes to kill or destroy properties, but whenever APC loses, there is usually mayhem? When will this DNA of violence, imported from the North, cease? 1 Like |

erudean: APC with Buhari at the helm is taking this country somewhere no one understands yet, people were and are still shouting change, indeed change they would get. Except God intervenes, in GMB's era I hear beats of war, because the north I know would never again mistakenly allow this all means gotton power shift again from North. All the same thank God Jona conceded, if not hell would have been let loose. God bless Nigeria. 1 Like |

It is very painful that APC-Akwa Ibom cannot accept defeat....and instead adopts violence. The trouble with some Nigeria politicians is that they wish to fight for crumbs....rather than work towards development. No one should die for a political matter. 1 Like |

tinkinjow:Why did Akpabio have to make this a do or die affair? Why did he have to arm thugs to cause pandemonium? I blame Umana though. He should have organized his own thugs too so that they would have been bloodbath yesterday. Nobody has a monopoly of violence. Imagine Sam Edem, a former NDDC chairman shooting sparodically as a common motor park tout. |

SIRKOL: In as much as I am a Change Ambasador, u've got a point here. Some people are just using d platform of 'Change' 2 cause havoc. Akwa Ibom state is working. We've seen uncommon trans4mation happen here which is a good reason 4 continuity. 'Change' is only needed in states wer Trans4mation failed e.g Kaduna, Niger, Kogi, Taraba & Nasarawa(though an APC state, with only one major road. I think power shud change hands there as Almakura didn't perform). Most of these issues is stirred by PDp decampees who don't know wat 'change' stands 4. If Umana Umana(4mer PDP) cannot see d trans4mation in A/ibom, he must be blind & desperate. A/Ibom needs Continuity & not Change. So also Lagos, Edo, Imo, Enugu, Anambra, Cross river etc needs Continuity & not Change But Kaduna, Niger, Taraba, Nasarawa, ABIA esp need CHANGE!!! Nigerians! Let's vote 4 Performers & not Party 2 Likes 1 Share |

Despite PDP's brilliant record and popularity in Akwa Ibom, they still will not allow a free and fair election in that state. Is there something they're afraid of? I think they should win honourably like Ambode is doing in Lagos 1 Like 1 Share |
