I've ignored you internet politicians for too long. That miscreant called Alex Otti, who bears an uncanny resemblance to TA Orji, is no doubt a first class rogue. His antecedents indicate that he'll be another Orji, if not worse.
Yes, he's a PDP man that fled to APGA only when he was denied the PDP nomination. Orji refused his 3 billion naira bribe, which I'm certain came from the stolen Liberian money he was holding for Charles Taylor. Otti ain't no saint, he's a criminal!!
For equity, the governorship was zoned to Abia South/Ngwa axis of the state. For over 20 years, since the inception of the state, the largest bloc in the state has patiently waited its turn to govern the state. Candidates were vetted, leading to the emergence of Okezie Ikpeazu as the PDP nominee. Meanwhile, Otti, who hails from Abia North(Arochukwu), emerges from his porch to claim that he's from Isialangwa. If this isn't a desperate criminal of TA proportions, I don't know who is.
All Otti ever did in APGA was bribe the national officials to impose him as the nominee against the wishes of those that have worked so hard to sustain the party in the state. Factions of the party still refuse to recognize him. Who can blame them? The man wasn't even a registered member of APGA when he was announced as the nominee, and this was two days after a different nominee had been announced. Criminal tendencies of Otti emerge again!!
These shady attempts to disenfranchise the Ngwa, first by deploying that criminal Otti, and now attempting to cancel election results in Ngwa territories would never work. Did Otti ever think he could garner more votes than Okezie in Isialangwa North, Obingwa and Ugwunagbo? If so, he must be back on hard drugs!!
Lastly, I'm not in the least interested in carrying water for TA Orji. . .he was a colossal failure. Okezie Ikpeazu is not his stooge, and would never be. Once Ikpeazu becomes governor, he would be successful or not based on his own doings, and not because of TA. That's the way things work around here, and you can take that to the bank. 2 Likes |

I beg to differ at the bolded. We've heard it before. The Chinese have a saying, "Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me". From what you have written so far, I can safely deduce that you are more interested in the so-called disenfranchisment of Ngwa people than the collective will of the electorates. There is no guarantee that Ikpeazu won't be a stooge, no, there isn't. If you have lived in Aba for these past few years, you would easily feel the pulse of the people and understand their agitations. T. A is a complete failure and the fact he clearly handpicked Okezie is a huge, conspicuous dent on his ( Okezie's) candidature. As it is, Orji is the object of public opprobrium in Aba; no one speaks good of him. Speaking for myself (and a good number of Abians, I believe), I don't hate Dr. Okezie (I genuinely admire his academic background), but Ochendo's state-wide hatred has rubbed off on him, negatively. A vote for Okezie is seen as a vote for T. A Orji and you honestly can't blame the people for that. Abians have languished in the gutters of political godfatherism and its concomitant backwardness that any other option, no matter how uncertain, is seen as messianic. 9 Likes 1 Share |

While I am inclined to align with your views about TA, I will disagree with you on Ikpeazu. Political godfatherism in itself is not a bad thing, it is done the world over. Say what? A would-be governor starting off with such gargantuan lies? How can a REC cancel results for which the house of assembly members had been accepted, declared winners and given certificate of returns by same INEC! So did the irregularities arise after the HOA members were returned by INEC or did INEC not see well before accepting the results and giving them certificates initially? A. is a constant failure, even after divorcing OUK. The Late Lamidi Adedibu also had Oyo state in his pocket, so did Andy Uba of Anambra State, briefly. As you have rightly pointed out, our people have taken godfatherism to a new disgusting level of parasitic relationship. I have to quickly admit that I am not aware (until now) of the behind-the-scene activities of Otti you have mentioned here, and so are most of the electorates. Unfortunately, a knowledge of this would make little difference to a majority of the electorates who would still wordlessly wave off Okezie's candidature as an indirect tenure elongation of Ochendo. Here, I believe Dr. Okezie should have given Ochendo a minimal appearance in his campaign, which is unlikely. If we access them individually, Okezie would certainly come out tops, but it is difficult (if not stupid) to judge the candidates in isolation -- we have an underachieving Ph.D president -- and Dr. Okezie's alignment with Ochendo is too thick a cloud for people to see through, that's the problem. It will be impossible for the average (and uninformed) Abian to look at Dr. Okezie and not spot the nightmarish shadow of Ochendo looming at the background. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Otti in my opinion is far worse than Okezie! The man has no specific agenda, no clearcut blueprint for development. His interest is to grab Power and that to me is desperation.
Otti came out some months ago to tell us the IFC had approved a Loan of $100 billion (USD) for him to use in developing Abia state. When we analysed it and confronted him with the fact that it would take 7 governors 8yrs each paying N30 billion monthly (total of 52yrs) to payback the loan, a supposed technocrat admitted to the Aba chamber if Commerce that it was a political statement! Say what? A would-be governor starting off with such gargantuan lies?
It is on record that Otti was expecting TA to hand over to him, but when TA sacrificed him on the alter of his personal ambition, he ran into APGA and began to form holy-holy!
Otti and his cohorts bribed the REC with N300million to cancel the results of 3 LGAs whose results have previously been accepted hence the intervention of people like Akobundu and abaribe etc.
Let's get realistic for a moment. How can a REC cancel results for which the house of assembly members had been accepted, declared winners and given certificate of returns by same INEC!
So did the irregularities arise after the HOA members were returned by INEC or did INEC not see well before accepting the results and giving them certificates initially?
Otti is not the right choice for Abia, okezie is and we must learn to look at him beyond the glasses of TA who I myself abhor. i feel u, man. U hv shown great political sagacity bt d ppl's mind has been poisoned by TA orji and dey can neva accept any thing giving to dem or any1 anionted by d devil agent, TA orji. Can u ever hav a good gift frm satan/devil?....NO 1 Like |

From my estimation that Orji guy and his PDP cannot even win his ward chairman election if conducted free and fair. Jega should do something, Abia people can't continue suffering. |

slap1: I agree that Tinubu's godsons have delivered but T. A. is a constant failure, even after divorcing OUK.
Okezie and not spot the nightmarish shadow of Ochendo looming at the background. it seems this is the situation as at now http://www.newsexpressngr.com/news/detail.php?news=10712&title=Update:-Alex-Otti-topples-Ikpeazu-in-Abia-guber-drama,-clears-Aba-South |

Kc3000: I've ignored you internet politicians for too long.
It's not about speaking big grammar, how can one local govt give you 80,000+ votes for one party, reason am naa.. nobody is talking about Alex otti winning in isialangwa but let the right results be announced!! That's all
