MikeCZAR: Every standard army has standard training, even Zimbabwe is well trained. Combat experience makes the difference between different armies. The army with training alone has one strength, the army with both training and battlefield experience has two strengths combined. War experience is the icing sugar and cream on the cake....and that is what has downgraded SANDF to the level of Botswana . 2 Likes 1 Share

lezz:All armies were integrated into the SADF and were retrained for conventional warfare as their was based guerrilla warfare. Compare that with Nigeria, as we got problems but yours are worse. In your dreams. |

agaugust:With superior training and equipment Zimbabwe was able to defeat rebels in the DRC with a lot of combat experience under their belts. Training > Experience. PLAN had a lot of experience fighting alongside FAPLA, Cuba, Mk ect in Angola and launching raids into Namibia. But when SWAPO came to power to came to SA looking for Namibians who were trained by the SADF and fought them. Those who served in SWATF and the SADF. |

MikeCZAR:Training and experience walk hand in hand, but on a scale of preference, experience beats training. There are heavily trained field soldiers who freeze when they see battle.Battle simulations are quite different from real life combat,on the practice ground, the biggest fatality you can sustain is a nose bleed, broken bone, wounded pride and serious tongue lashing from your disgruntled superior.but is real combat, failure means death. That is why many soldiers, even though they've got training, tend to loose nerve in the middle of real action.Trainers can only teach the troops and hope for the best. But experience is a rare attribute needed for a formidable armed force.Even without preliminary training, once you've got the experience, you've got the training needed. 2 Likes 1 Share |

MikeCZAR:Nelson Mandela admitted that they came from the bush, prisons and camps and do not know how to run a country. Runnig a country implies the military, education, hospitals and infrastructure. And all of these are nose-diving in South Africa of today. 1 Like |

Nigeria is also home to Africa's most Ambitious projects Eko-Atlantic city and Centenary city. Our Rail project was also named in one of the world's Top 10 projects largest projects. MikeCZAR: In C.A.R they were all deployed to together, the Intelligence Operative I spoke to told me that it was his team that first detected around ±10 000 Seleka Rebels from the mountains (but I'm not sure if he was telling the truth or stole someone else's story).. But anyway he said his team were actually taking pictures and sending live feeds back to U.N HQ while the Parabats and S.Fs were engaging the enemy, while 3 or 4 Parabs were providing cover for him. |

It takes an unbiased VICE (video) news reporting from our NE frontlines to demolish all the wrong perceptions, hate-mongering and propaganda peddled against Nigeria and the NA. All I owe you is more of the outpouring of praises for Africa's top conventional War and COIN specialist Army - the NA. They say we are "badasss" fighters! 2 Likes 1 Share

lezz: Nigeria has most of poorly developed hospitals in Africa. SA always wants to compare to European standard in almost everything. By the time they start to look into Africa, they will see that they are in actual fact by far better in terms of development of infrastructure. The problem is that we have white community and Asian community that always refer to either Europe or Japan that they always use as a yardstick to measure the quality of public services. I just only wish them to visit Nigeria and other African countries, I bet you they will recommend SA in many ways. Nigerian government is a complete failure when it comes to service delivery. They don't even know the concept of service delivery. Pregnant or not pregnant you are entitled to free health care in SA. |

Henry120: You are always dreaming deep in your sleep, so when are you going to wake up? So, SA built all those world standard universities for foreigners? Desperate attempts to deface the image of South Africans with lies, Shame. What is it that Egypt has ever sold to the world? Egypt has no defence industry comparable to that of SA. It is a fact that SA has the best defence industry in Africa. If you don't know that look at Sipri to see which African country is in the top 20 arms exporter. Egyptians recently sent their minister of technology to beg SA to help them train their scientists, engineers and technologists in various fields. |

Msauza: You are so desperate ... Nigerians are Nigerians! Just eat your tiny balls out ... fake Enugu man! What Jonathan has shown -- is the political sagacity that many African leaders need to learn. It shows you the democratic maturity and leadership we are teaching fellow African countries like South Africa. We have reaffirmed our place as the biggest and most advanced democracy in Africa. Reason why we have the leading and most fearless Army in all of Africa. The world now confesses we are a professional fighting force! 3 Likes |

NaijaPikinGidi: Nigeria recruited mercenaries, particularly those who are experts from South Africa. Do you call that military the best that failed to use its own skills to defeat BH and instead deported hundreds of mercenaries from SA to help them defeat BH. Does that not tell you that South Africa's mind is superior to that of his Nigerian counter part? Jonathan could make use of mercenaries to defeat BH but that unfortunately could not help him win election because of Nigeria have seen what kind of joke had their military turned into. |
Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by MikeCZAR: 7:31am On Apr 13, 2015 |
Henry120:Thanks to the rule of dictators you have nothing. Most Nigerians today don't even go to school as BH blew up learning places. That's because we a superior knowledge of asymmetric warfare than most. Egypt defence industry is focused on building systems under licence similar to Ethiopia not independent Our defence industry is characterised by a strong research and development capability, years ahead of Egypt and Nigeria. This offers the SA military capabilities no one on the continent can match. From missile capability, UAVs, Command and control systems independent from outside countries to howitzers. |
